Average Mac/OSX user
this. everything i've read about autism makes it seem like just coping with the world is fucking intense, and this kid finds some joy in this thing. the parents or whoever just wanted to document that brief moment of happiness.
don't be a cunty faggot, OP. let this poor kid have this one thing and leave these folks in peace.
He's genuinely enjoying Apple products.
Can't you relate when you were younger, you have a similar glean in your eye for the greatest tech.
Can't you understand that he's happy?
This man has brought genuine joy to a child.
Anyone who knows Gabe, knows what an all consuming fan of Apple he is, so I found the nearest Apple Store location (Nashville), and told his Dad that I thought it would be a perfect idea to take Gabe for his 12th birthday. Boy, were we right! We all pitched in, including his brother, Seth, and got him a $125 Apple gift card, so he could buy some accessories that he has been wanting for his refurbished, iPad 2, and planned the trip. We drove all the way to Nashville with Gabe having no clue what was up. When we got near the Apple store's location in the mall, I covered his eyes, while Daddy and Seth got the recorders ready, 1/2
>He knows how to program iOS stuff
and when I uncovered his eyes, Gabe beheld his own personal Mecca for the first time! He screamed, fell to the floor and started spinning around shouting "Apple Store, Apple Store, Apple Store...." Everyone was watching and laughing along with us, and he immediately won everyone over with his enthusiasm, and he took that store by storm! An amazing Apple Store employee instantly connected with Gabe, after announcing to the store that he wonders why everyone is not as excited as this little boy! Gabe was in iHeaven as this employee showed him around the store, and talked to him in an iSpeak language that only they understood! As Gabe was watching this employee showing him a new program, he suddenly became overwhelmed, and began crying the first tears of uncontrollable joy that he has ever experienced! Through his tears he explained that he was so happy, and that he loves this to death, loves this to tears, and he held up his hands, made the sign of the cross, and praised God! He was so raw, and genuine, and you could tell that he didn't know exactly what to do with all of that emotion! It was the most BEAUTIFUL thing that I have ever seen, and he had his Dad, myself, and several customers in tears right along with him! Just seeing my son this happy was the greatest gift I could have ever hoped for! The Apple employee knew how much Gabe loved the new iPod touch, but that the gift card was for the cost of the accessories he wanted, and that we were not going to be able to get an iPod. Gabe wasn't expecting one, and he wasn't asking for one either. This man was so deeply touched by Gabe, that he pulled me aside and asked that, since it was his birthday, would I allow him to pitch in the difference, so that Gabe could have an iPod today? I swear, I was so dumbfounded, that I didn't know what to say, and I simply hugged him and thanked him with everything in me! Keith and I were in a mild state of shock, 2/2
He is growing up to be a fine homosexual, Anon
this is why children with autism should be aborted before birth.
Why the fuck would anyone want to raise such a shithead. You know damn well his parents wished they had a normal child.
>tfw if my child has autism i'm going to throw him straight into adoption and cut all ties
fucking refuse to raise a mentally sick kid. We should be aborting them all and only give birth to healthy babies.
Einstein was autistic as fuck and he helped to create the atomic bomb, they are like fucking free trained robots. The army and society will still having these people in their lines.
Really don't know why everyone is calling him retarded and picking on him. I'm all for calling people retard and autistic and shit but when a board of, presumably, adults is memeing an actually autistic child is pretty gross. I know the people that browse this board aren't very different from Gabe, hell most of the people here probably have some form of autism or social disorder, so that makes me feel a little bit better.
@4:17 resident apple yogi teaches. lost hard
this is a common misconception among people who don't know how to relate to the world, so i'm glad to help; we don't all live in mental institutes and need permission to access the internet the way you do. that's pretty much just you, actually.
I seriously think we should stop putting nerds/loners/shy intelligent people in the same category as actual autists. I know its an epic 4chan maymay. Also, the autist = instant genius thing is such bullshit.
>just tell an autistic child to be quiet
I bet that didn't ever occur to them
If you read the description of the video it's actually a pretty sweet video. But no, you guys rather pretend this is what an average Mac user is like just to have a chance at blowing a suckerpunch below the belt.
>That Apple Genius saying that autistic isn't a thing, he's just "different"
lmao oh man, that was comedic gold.
>Autistic little shit
>I wish I had enough money for THAT
Well fuck you, you little retard.
This is typical consumertard culture
Braindead borderline retarded masses screaming hysterically because of the latest
shiny Chink tracking device
This is how the future generation has been raised
This is the future you chose
It didn't have to be like this
You could have stopped it
Why didn't you stop it?
It's too late now
maybe they could have gotten him excited about something else besides being a consumertard?
Like you know, something that could actually benefit him in the future and not make him the autistic version of an islave
I left 4chan for quite a while. I just came back to snoop around. This is the first thread on /g/ I see.
A lot has changed. We used to make fun of people that deserved to be made fun of, not god damn autistic children.
This thread is definitely the worst thing I'll remember about looking back.
Pajeet is right
There is no such thing as autism
It's just a nice strategy by pharma companies to have long term customers and to convince parents that it's not their fault their kid is a fuck up
Brats are hyper and retarded by nature some more than others. Saying he's a special snowflake with a disease (when there are people with actual disabilities) is justifying for him to underperform in life. He has all that energy that could be applied to something positive that could benefit him in the future. Instead his parents (the real retards here) support him in an obsession with consumer culture instead of doing their job and getting him obsessed with the actual workings of hardware and software all while probably zombifiying him on meds that are supposed to cure his personality.
Yes that fat naïve western child free from the throes of children in factory labour, Steve truly was an hero.
>This man has brought genuine joy to a child.
He would have hated that, it's almost a form of charity.
The kid has mental issues and is just happy. All he will see when he watches the video is him being happy. Autists don't understand the social aspect of humanity. They don't get how it's cringeworthy. You would also do stuff like this if you were not able to "get" how it was wrong. Because logically why should you not lie on the ground and go around in a ring and make lots of loud jovial sounds because you are happy?
When you know social cues you know that it is not how people behave. but he has no idea or reason to know that. it makes no sense to him.
>but the kid on this video seems to have a fairly reasonable sense of judgement
He was happy and felt no reason to disagree with anyone. You obviously don't know what autism is. Watch this video >>52345771
