What is this madness? My tablet is emulating Gamecube at full speed. Is this putting my processor on suicide watch? I'm playing at 480p resolution on the i5 SP4.
Dolphin, latest version
I was under no illusion that a tablet would be emulating 6th gen consoles at high resolution. I kept my expcetations in check and am just surprised that it works at all, let alone full speed. 480p was the native resolution of gamecube so I'm okay with this
ugh, it triggers me that you keep calling it a tablet. the surface is a keyboardless/slate notebook. an ipad/galaxy/etc is tablet.
you sound incredibly stupid when you're surprised that your i5 powered slate can handle emulation.
"accuracy" faggots are the worst.
>emulator makes it look better
>BUT THAT IS NOW HOW IT WAS...
>yup sure isn't, it's better/faster etc
>NOT "TRUE" EMULATION
>lol why does this 320 x 200 n64 game look like shit on everything
>i5-6300U: 4251 MT / 1634 ST
meanwhile I'm pretty sure I ran GC emulation at higher settings on an e8400 back in the day
>c2d e8400: 2178MT / 1255 ST
so really, this is nothing special
Yeah people are missing the point. You want to be able to accurately play the game and as such your emulator needs to be accurate. It doesn't have to be a 1:1 scenario if the resulting emulation is accurate.
>an actual quirk of the hardware.
