/g/, did Nvidia/Microsoft just cuck me?
I formatted my drive because I was running low on space, and didn't really care for whatever I had on it, so I reinstalled Botnet 10 and suddenly every video game looks like shit.
For some reason, it doesn't seem like anti-aliasing is even attempting to enable itself. I have everything maxed out in Nvidia Control Panel except for anti-aliasing which is set to application-specific (since it tends to fuck with things if I enable it as an override/enhance)
I've tried reinstalling DirectX and my Nvidia drivers (and even rolling back to early drivers), but everything still looks like ass.
Pic related.
(Yes, I know /sqt/ exists. I feel that this might need more than /sqt/ advice, though.)
Had same problem with ETS2, the problem is the scaling setting in the graphics options.
It was set to something stupid like 39%.
Set It to 150% or 200 if your pc can handle it.

Jesus, you might be right, actually.
Tried Half-Life Source and the anti-aliasing is definitely working there. Don't have a lot of games ATM since I'm redownloading them, but this seems to be the exact issue.
I feel like a dumbass. Thanks for the advice!
Use SGSSAA in DX9 games.

It's certainly the problem in ETS2 for sure. I can guarantee you that. Launch it, change it to 200 percent.

It's a niche game. The problem is for one christmas there were a few joke threads by a guy who posted screenshots of him playing and mocking the game. Of course for redditors posting on /v/ it was serious business, to the point they told the producer of the game to release it on steam so they can buy it (yeah, these people actually wanted DRM over DRMfree copy). And that's how the whole ETS2 faggotry started.
