How does /g/ hide their lewd pics?
Not from the police or anything, I don't want to have to extract and decrypt and archive everytime I need to access them, rather how do I hide them from prying friends and family?
or something you should also make a script that converts them to .dat and vice versa and give them generic names like 00001 00002, to stop people using search to find them
just wandering, for you know cool haxing, is there any new encryption tools that have problems just wandering for my uses you know the be a cool anonymous
>anon you're such an idiot! You don't understand hacking! thats not how it works!
No one is going to fall for this absolutely horrible bait. No one. And people fall for shitty bait all the time.
This is truly a piss poor attempt.
> How does /g/ hide their lewd pics?
Why hide them? Are you in religious zealot territory or something?
Just about anyone who knows me knows that I have lewd pictures (and I have lewd figures and posters in my room, too).
Doesn't matter a fuck's worth, people who like porn and sexuality aren't exactly rare. We got about a planet full of them.
I'd suggest LUKS encryption on Linux, then.
Flexible and simple, you can put everything into a real partition, a file, a raid array, some partition on a remote NAS... whatever you like.
Further advantage, plebs can't break Linux security, no keyloggers or adware or caches or shit that browsers etc. do easily compromise your security if your "porn user account" /home is encrypted, and they won't know such an user account exists either.
And encryption isn't security by obscurity. It's just security.
If the only thing you have as security is a login password on your laptop, you genuinely have no security. People can just pick up the laptop and do wtf they want with no restrictions.
This is generally a bad idea, but it might be better to have a more secure OS viewing / mounting these things. Irrelevant to your problem of friends / family snoops, though. Dude, just use VeraCrypt and be done with it.
I only have a password when turning the computer on, I can't be bothered typing it again everytime my computer goes to sleep. Are there any other measures I should take that doesn't take up my time?
Does Veracrypt mean it takes time to access all my files? I'm not that paranoid.
First: setup a internal sata hard drive of varying capacity and make it hotswappable through the uefi/bios.
Second: move porn to the hard drive. Enjoy.
Third: when finished, remove sata data connector from hard drive to hide all porn.
Use that tool that they use on /b/ to hide rar files in pictures.
Just get a picture of a banana (so you know what you'll be like after you've opened it) and add a rar of porn to it...just need to change the file extension
serious question how old are you?
>lives with parents
>calls them lewd pics instead of saying porn
>has to ask on a forum because he doesn't know what google is
you're 18y/o maximum
External with full disk encryption with Truecrypt and a portable install of Kodi.
Just plug it in and fap. Im super OCD about organizing it all too. I need to make a backup vefore something terrible happens.
>Be an average adult human being
>Friends and family are well aware that average adult human beings watch porn
It's less interesting for prying eyes if it isn't hidden. No one really gives a shit about what kind of porn you're into anyway.
Which is why I'm not going to go encrypt drives or anything. However I don't want to be showing someone something in a semi-professional environment and come across something quite so obvious, so
was a good idea
You gotta use them alternate streams if your using NTFS. Basically NTFS file can have multiple "streams" for a file, which are hard to access except for the primary data stream because almost no native windows tools except powershell really can access it. People would have to be actively searching your computer very very carefully to find that shit.
