Mine is something I've been refining for a while. All icons are in a two-page scrolling dock with each acting as a folder. The actual pages cycle between a weather widget and a clock widget (both zooper). I need to get around to manually editing the font for the widgets so that the text aligns properly with the verticals of the bar magnet in the wallpaper. I've tried messing around with splashes of color, but I just keep coming back to good old black and white. Looks good on a white GS4.

The angle itself is fine; the individual characters ("glyphs," technically) just need to be skewed to the left about 9.1 degrees so that the text looks like it's a part of the image. I agree that it is sort of unsettling to look at, but I haven't found a reliable way to edit the font without having to do ass tons of tedious trigonometry.

im making a clock widget using zooper and want it to have the same width as the persistent google search bar (nova) but i dont think it can go any wider or it cuts off. is there any way to get around this using zooper/nova settings?

No, unfortunately I don't think there's a way to do that in Zooper. Anything you make with a tool like that is restricted to the boundaries of the widget box itself. Anything larger will get cut off as you already said. That being said, you could use the Google search bar widget instead, which doesn't stretch all the way across the screen. Your other options include some kind of wallpaper witchcraft or learning how to code for Android to make it bend to your will.

Try using the 3 row option. Make some tiles bigger in that mode so you will see more of your background. Also, move colored(nontransparent) tiles just beneath your first view. If you have to have it in the top, make it either transparent with "Transparency Tiles" or group them together in a corner or in next/under each other.

So there's square patterns, putting icons on the dock, and hexagonal patterns for icons. What other ways of having icons on your screen are there that aren't terrible?

Still looking for how to hide the nav bar on the homescreen.

Not him, but it's the tiny white icon pack.
Not sure where he got the landscapes but he could have hand made that part.
