Should I do SL 5x5 until I keep hitting plateaus for getting to decent strength and then move on to 5/3/1 plus assistance to actually look like I lift?
I've only been doing SL for 3+ months so I've still got a lot of time left on 5x5 but I like to have a somewhat fixed plan for the future and also something to look forward to.
Just keep lifting faggot.
Keep doing SL for 3,6,9 more months and then reasses. Its honestly not bad for size or strength, especially for newish people.
Don't buy into the meme of speshul routines pls.

Exactly what I'm doing.

I may even get some Size if I eat enough and keep at it?
Thanks guys.
What should i do guys
im doing SL 5x5 atm
>squat 5x5 225lbs
>almost took me 40 mins to do all the sets
>barely make every set
>Bench 5x5 137lbs
>almost fail because no energy after squat
I feel like the frequency starts getting too high for me on squats? i work manual labor standing 42+ hours a week. Should i switch squat program/frequency?
Im 5'10 @ about 158-160lbs

do 3x5 instead of 5x5
>>42241144
But should i still add 5 lbs each workout?
I'm wondering if I should start 5x5 too because I've been on a brosplit for a year now. What I don't like about 5x5 is the fact that the program doesn't isolate bis, tris, calves, etc. I'll miss the preacher curls and the tricep pushdowns... What do you think?

>SL for 9 months

Doesn't really matter, the program is designed to add strength to your main compound lifts. It's not meant to build size as a primary goal

Excuse my stupid question but isn't size = strenght?
>>42242770
you can answer that question yourself by looking at people who compete in "who looks the biggest" and "who lifts the most". Not saying there isn't a strong correlation though.

Not necessarily, strength is your body's ability to produce force
