Not sure where to post, so I guess I will do it here. When do I stop cutting? Im keen on playing contact sport next year, so I am not lifting for aesthetics purely, but still wanna look decent. I was thinking of cutting until my waist got to 32 inches (82cm)? Or maybe 30 inches? And then after that bulk until my waist is 32 inches or so?

I've started doing some weight-lifting about 5-6 times a week since June to finally get my body into shape. I'm still eating a bit of ice-cream everyday because 'tis the season, so it should even out while getting me more fit as I transition into the school year (tutoring, lots of travelling everyday).

I had a nasty ass cold hit me like a freight train on Friday, on Saturday morning I lay on my couch just wheezing, all I wanted was comfort food ... but I fought off the cravings... my head was throbbing, mouth felt dry, nose endlessly streaming...

Leg press would and other leg accesories would be added in when both me and my buddy felt like it, its less than ideal because he cant squat or deadlift (mobility issue from childhood, was even in a wheelchair for a while) so legs are lacking. A 'diet' you can sustain over long periods of time is the most important thing you can find. If keto is hard to maintain you'd be better off just counting calories while getting good amounts of protein

What's the best way of flavoring breakfast porridge without ruining my calorie count?

I'm used to maple syrup and brown sugar, but I obviously can't do that now, and I've basically been skipping breakfast since I started cutting which isn't ideal as I can get pretty lethargic by lunch time.

Well after the first fuck-up I realised that I needed to counterbalance any future cheat (of which I've only had two more) with greater contrition so I don't feel as bad and I can feel like I'm back on track quicker

Hair loss. Fucked up hormones. Various nutrient deficiencies that could go dozens of different directions medically, all of them bad.

Gallstones and gallbladder removal are a big one I see mentioned on reddit a lot. If you aren't getting at least 15g of fat a day, reasonably spaced out throughout the time you are awake, you are going to get gallstones in the process of large weight loss.

I've got ground beef and veggies. How do I turn this into a meal? Brown the beef, then saute the veggies in olive oil. Mix them together. Is that a good plan?

I love salads. but I wanted to eat something with a lot of calories and protein. I'm doing 16-8 IF, and I was busy all afternoon so I'm squeezing only one meal into today. (before I trigger any vegans I am NOT saying that the salad couldn't be made high protein too)
btw I already prepared my dinner and ate it. I literally had ground beef with light seasonings and steamed veggies on the side drizzled in olive oil. It was so boring. It's really goddamn hard to be creative when one is cutting out dairy and most high-carbohydrate foods.

I did that once and ran a 5K after the 27th hour of being awake or so, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. You shouldn't really stress about missing a single workout when it's done in the name of fixing your sleep schedule.

The way I am losing weight is probably not sustainable or smart.

I wake up, go as long as I can bear without eating, then have a large meal (900-1200 calories) sometime in the afternoon and graze on veggies the rest of the day. I usually end the day on 1500-1600 calories.

I do this so I can still have one meal per day consisting of something unhealthy. Pizza, burgers, teriyaki, curry, whatever. I'm hopelessly addicted to it emotionally and perhaps even physically.

I'm fat because of that addiction and because I would snack uncontrollably. This diet is only correcting the latter issue, not the former.

yes. TDEE is how much it would take to maintain your current bodymass, and RMR is how much you need to eat to keep your organs/basic bodily functions in working order.
your fat can only release a certain amount of energy per day (~31 calories per pound) so eating at a deficit (total calories below TDEE) at or above your maximum rate of loss would result in definite losses in LBM.
for example, a man who's 400lbs and 50% bodyfat can maximally release 6200 calories of fat per day. that pegs the first month's weight loss at about 10-12lbs, with it decreasing each month after.
the reason you see people burn out and feel exhausted is because they eat too far below their TDEE and their body begins to cannibalize itself after it overreaches the available fat energy

I am that exact same way. Used to be 265 and now I'm down to 220. It works, don't worry about it health-wise unless you're doing it super long term
