Not sure if I'm doing this right. Stalled at 205 for like 10 days. Got mad and did a 36 hour water fast. down to 203 now, at least. Figured since I'd spent all my blood glucose anyway, I might as well try keto. Is this how a typical day should look (obviously with less salt, preferably)? I know that I wasn't remotely hungry at lunchtime today. Made myself eat dinner after that giant greasy omelet this morning if only because it's a good idea to eat 90 minutes before you work out.

i love my mom, but she has been ruthless about my weight since we met (i'm a fosterkid, moved into her home when i was 11 and have been there ever since)
she's done so much for me, she's given me an entirely new outlook and chance in life, and i just want her to be proud of me. since i can't meet her without being called fat, i started losing weight.

i've lost 45 lbs in 9 months, but she hasn't noticed. she doesn't believe me when i tell her. she bought me some clothes for my birthday and they were all too big. the pair of cutoff jeans she gave me were so massive they reached my ankles and fell straight off.

granted i'm still chubby (165lbs at 5'5'') but i do actually look a lot better. it's so frustrating to not have your progress noticed by the only person worth lifting for.

unless you're in danger of starvation, malnutrition, or, I don't know, you drive or operate heavy machinery for a living and you fast to the point of losing consciousness, then I don't see any downsides to overestimating intake while trying to lose fat, even if the overestimation is somewhat intentional. if it's helping you, psychologically, to hit your goals then I would say that you should feel free to continue doing so.

much worse would be underestimating your intake, and then wondering why you aren't dropping pounds. or, overestimating your intake while trying to gain weight / build muscle. these are both very common mistakes which often result in idiots getting convinced that calories in vs calories out somehow doesn't apply to them, when in reality they're just counting wrong. that can be very demoralizing so make sure to avoid it.

the electrical tests can be 10%+ off depending on sodium and water intake, so i wouldn't take it as a guarantee. personally, i'd suggest taking 2 different caliper tests (3, 4, or 5 point), and then using the navy method. you'll get a range that has extremes that are almost guaranteed to be within 1-3% of where you're at, and i find averages tend to be closest.

136lbs (new lbm) would mean you'd be 150ish pounds if 10% bodyfat.
for now, shoot for ~150 and reevaluate as you diet. if you look good at 160, or 180, or whatever you can always stop the cut early and begin bulking. alternatively, you could get almost to where you want to be and recomp the last couple percent.
these numbers are likely off a bit, but unless you get bodpod measurements a bit of guesswork is mandatory

First and foremost, get a refund on your personal trainer if at all possible. They're not worth that much and they focus on broscience bullshit.

Second, you'll want to cut down a little bit. What weight would you like to lose?

Third, for exercises that focus on your ass and core I recommend the following -

Good Mornings - This is where you get the bar (45 lbs) and start with your legs straight, bar against your shins and back straight. You then draw up, almost like a deadlift, until your body is straight and then lower it back down.

3 sets of 8-12 repetitions. If you get 24 reps, add 5 lbs. If you get 36 reps, add 10.

S Q U A T S - If you don't know what these are, I can't help you. Make sure you focus on form with this and are progressively adding weight. Get below parallel and that will help with your ass.

5 sets of 5. Start low weight, add 5 pounds per session.

For good abdominals I really recommend cable crunches. You'll see these in the free weight area, but they're cable stations with adjustable pull points. Set your weight, attach the braided cord and then get down on your knees. Have your butt out just a little and grab the cord. Keep it slightly off of your ears and pull down.

3x8-12 of those and you'll see core gains.

Also if you want to see a lot of definition in your obliques, do Landmine 180s. They're... fucking radical. I love them.

Of course google all of these and set yourself up a plan but if you just want to be a /fit/ cardio bunny with a nice set of abs and ass then you can research further from there.

I'm unfortunately not well-versed in casein protein but when using whey protein I noticed that if I used silk unsweetned vanilla almond milk the consistency I was getting made me feel more full.

I was also on keto when taking protein shakes, so I added about 4 servings of fitness fiber and flax seed meal to shore up my lack of fiber. This definitely helped me with a sensation of fullness.

Really depends on your diet and what you want to eat. You could add more content to the shake too, but it all hinges on your macros and calories.

Protein: 50% (188g)

Last night I went to the casino in the mountains as a reward for being a good boi for so long since I fucking LOVE the casino. Did what I usually did (Smoked a lot, drank a lot, ate a good portion of garbage food) hell I even kicked ass at slots and made an easy 200 bucks. But as soon as I woke up this morning I felt nothing but regret. My body feels awful, and I feel even more awful about the lost time (Day worth of studying, hell probably today too since im hungover. Threw away 2-3 days of progress this week as well). I am not sure how to feel. On one hand, I no longer enjoy the old "unhealthy" lifestyle but on another I no longer enjoy the thing that really made me happy. Straight edge life is one hell of a drug.

Actually last Sunday I had a cheat day and ate 1100 calories past my daily needs. Weighed myself on my weekly Saturday weigh in and lost exactly 3lbs which is 1lbs more than I wanted so I can now enjoy going over on cheat days and still surpass my own expectations for now.
