I made this incredible vegan lentil soup for dinner tonight with : leek, garlic cloves, carrots, tomatoes, onion, a lot of parsley, tomato paste to thicken, and lentils.
I used paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, ginger powder, a spoonful of chilli paste, and dash of lemon juice to season it.
Making kitchen gains everyday trying new recipes, always implementing at least three vegetables in each meal, one to two fruit servings for dessert, drinking my liter of water a day, tracking macros, being in caloric deficit, doing IF for 16/8, losing consistently weight.
It feels like I am starting to make deep long lasting changes to my life that I can probably live with for the rest of my life.

Eating 12 hard boiled eggs and 2 oranges daily. Sometimes I substitute 4 eggs for something more tasty like 200 grs of chicken or so. My highest was 115 kgs, so it's been a long journey. Depends on your TDEE
If you water fast + light cardio and light lifting, with a TDEE of like 2500cal, then you can lose 5lbs a week

If you use DNP to make that TDEE go up to like 4000 (I would not recommend fasting on dnp though because even if you've been on keto the cravings will become physically painful, just eat a keto diet of at least 1000 cal/day) with a negative of 3000, you can lose like 6lb/week. Realistically with dnp you could manage up to a pound a day or more as well, but good luck if you have a job or school because you'll be sweating buckets non stop.

Alright 10 days of sobriety is officially done!
It wasn't easy for the first 3-4 days or so, but the cravings have gone down significantly, and it feels so good to wake up fresh in the morning that I don't really think about drinking anymore.

Diet was also very clean, lots of vegetables, only water I think the only cheat I had was a small 400kcal bag of doritos and 3 energy drinks.

Gym was fine too, but I couldn't train as hard as I wanted because of doms, my mp3 player broke so I had to bring my phone (which means more time loss checking 4chan and whatnot between sets), plus I need to purchase compression underwear in order to start jogging (long story).
But anyway I'm still glad about losing 3lbs in 10 days, considering my end goal is to be a ripped 200lbs after 150 days.

Another issue has been sleep, as I'm not used to going to bed sober. I'm averaging 4-6 hours a night, which is far from enough. Though I gotta admit I go to the gym really late at night so that doesn't help.

And this is it for day 10th blog, let's not give up everyone!

236 November to 194lb today. I stalled a bit at 194, but went under 193 the other day.

Signed up to a gym for the first time in 10 years because it was cheap cheap and 24 hour, 1.2 mile walk and was the only person to turn up to induction so I got 45 minutes personal training on squats to overhead press. Used to be a national athlete back in the my teens, ran marathons and stuff so my fat phase is just a 4 year phase due to depression... maybe. Nothing particularly special, but I was lucky in that it appears to be the fittest looking trainer in the mcgym.

My starting stats 5x3 for deadlift, squat, bench and OHP are 60kg/50kg/35kg/30kg. Obviously this is no spotter midnight at the gym on my first attempt alone, and I did biceps and triceps the night before. I spent another 30 reps each doing just the bar focusing on form. I'm a bit shocked at the gym, I'd feel more at home in a gym full of 40 year old, roided up meatheads with half rusted equipment, but that's just how I was raised. But the equipment is great and after 2k on a model d rower warming up I'm going to sell my model c because that ergo handle makes a lot of difference and the thing is incredibly quiet compared to a model c.

My new diet will be 1 chicken breast 4 oz steak and 4 oz pork, bulked out to 1500cals with veggies. Now I'm exercising I will probably add eggs and an extra chicken breast a day, with more fruit. I'm scared of overtraining but I was to see real results these 3 months and get moved on to a dedicated boxing gym/powerlifting gym after this 3 month membership is up. Sure I'll see some of you losers in the place.

A guy, by the name of Lyle Macdonald, wrote a short book on it. You can find it online. If you're not the type to read 80 pages on a single topic, then just continue googling, and pull up relevant sites on it.

There's a science behind a proper PSMF. Lyle divides people, based on their weight, in categories: 1, 2 and 3. People on 2 and 3 need less re-feeds, supplements, or macros calculations, if I remember correctly. People who are at risk of losing a lot of LBM i.e. category 1, need a very specific amount of protein.

PSMF is basically hardcore keto. You get in the requisite amount of protein for your body type, no additional fat or carbs beyond that. You supplement magnesium and potassium, and maybe some stimulant if your body can't handle the hunger pangs. You're discouraged, even by the author himself, to do for it more than a couple of weeks at a time, without a 're-feed'. It's a very awful diet, that you're supposed in short bursts only. People start losing their minds on starvation diets and if you don't do the formulas right, then you will lose LBM.

Worked out my average actual deficit,
X amount of kilos lost over Y days, X*35000=z
z/Y=average deficit over Y days
To do it in freedom units you change kilos to pounds and 35000 to 3500, the exactness of the cals in a pound/kj in a kilo is a bit dodgy but fuck it
Mine works out to 3500kj deficit on average since mid december

Anyone tried low protein fasting? I saw it on Joe Rogan with Dr. Rhonda Patrick. Apparently if you keep your protein lower than 4-14 g per day your cells enter a state of autotrophy which purges old dead mitochondria and built up toxins in the cell. You can do it as water fasting or by just eating fat and no protein like a super keto.

I'm in day two of a protein fast. I've lost 4 pounds, mostly water because I've been pissing like a race horse. My body feels leaner and less bloated just because of the water loss.

Anyone tried it long term?

Get your electrolytes and water intake balanced. For me if I get a charlie horse I lift my toes up towards my head and push my heel down and away. Like you're doing pic related. That causes the charlie horse to release at least if it's in the calf where I usually get them. Then I drink a ton of water and take some potassium and magnesium.

I use Dymatize just because it's what the guy uses in the keto chow recipe and he's always price checking it so I can just go to the keto chow recipe page and get a link to the cheapest Dymatize protein powder at the time. It's low carb and low cal. I'm too lazy to go shop for my own brand or price.
