Went to sleep today a little earlier because I had no calories left today due to a slip up last night. Woke up at 11pm feeling hungry as fuck. So around mid March I was 230 pounds.
I'm 6'0" tall
I found out I had prediabetes after a blood lab test A1C level at 5.8.
I completely changed my diet and I did some form of cardio every morning before work (I work swing shift). At my office job, I get up literally every 20 minutes throughout the entire shift to go walk around the hallways of the building for 5 or so minutes as well as walk during both my breaks (15 minutes each) and my lunch (actually dinner) and walk for like 20-25 minutes).
My diet consists of oatmeal in the mornings, turkey slices sandwhich (two turkey slices on ezekiel bread) and a fruit. For dinner I eat whatever leftovers my mom makes which is generally fairly healthy.

Today, I'm now at 193 pounds and I'm hoping I don't progress to full blown diabetes.

Skin is very thin and unless you are losing 300 pounds or more nobody will even be able to tell with your clothes on.

I do wish my doctors were kidding about my health being in jeopardy though.
I still remember the wretched date I found out. It was on a 03/17/17 I did the physical and blood test. I found out on 03/19 on the Kaiser account profile. I immediately told my parents and instantly started eating healthier and doing cardio.
I also started lifting weights last week which I plan to continue.

Man, I've been so unhappy and scared. I'm angry and ashamed of myself for letting this happen but still remain optimistic despite everything.
Even if I become diabetic in the futue, I plan on eating right and staying active.

Didn't go to college, started out as a laborer in the field I am now, moved my way up to project management. You don't need school if you have no desire to go into a field that directly requires it so you are right, go get a job and make money instead if accumulating debt. I make $150k a year with my grade 12. Only going to tradeschool now because I want a change of lifestyle.

It's extremely filling and tasty as fuck, to the point where it feels like I'm cheating, but with no harsh consequences.

There's some interesting low-calorie brand food out there. It may not be cheap, or give your body the balanced nutrition it needs to hit the gym, but hell. It's another alternative dish for the menu that increases my morale and only fills 1/4 of my daily calorie limit.

I normally do 16/8 if and a serving can be 300g cook i think. Again I normally do one serving with my daily big meal at morning (about 1000kcal althoug I try to aim for 700kcal) and eat a small meal before bed (cup of broth with some ham slices or a greek yogurt with blueberries aiming for <500kcal).
