Here we ask others for advice and give moral support to one another if you are too weak to survive solo. We all know losing weight when you are fat is easy if you just reduce calorie intake, literally piece of cake. At the end of the day this is a support general whose goal is to help and motivate the chubby channers who need to lose weight for a number of reason. Please be warned that there are some chronic idiots who post in this general giving horrible advice to troll or to reassure their extremist autism works for themselves, don't bother, always remember calorie intake, if it is lesser than how many calories your body burns you ll be fine.

Well, that was simple. Lost 5 kg in three weeks, just by eating a little below my TDEE.

145 kg now. I hope I'll keep on dropping 5 kg every month or so, should be good enough to start actually training around vacation, since right now I'm too fat for SS or running.

I think this needs an addition. Someone who dieted down and has lowered BMR compared to the average of people at that weight and BF% can of course gain muscle mass and weight and increase their BMR. If I understand correctly, their new BMR would still be slightly lower than the average of people at that weight and BF%. So, perhaps after a huge weight loss you'll always have a BMR slightly lower than average but you can still increase your BMR to a higher level like everybody else.

You don't have to suffer from getting to eat less than 2000kcal to maintain weight forever after weight loss.

I hope this will reassure fatties of not being afraid of metabolic slowdown. It can be recovered from and you can even get it back to the level you had before dieting down.

For example, the calculator in the OP gives the same sedentary TDEE for 135kg at 40% BF and 90kg at 10% BF. Add that with lifting regularly and you can probably enjoy eating 3000kcal to maintain.

Typically I do
2 cups of normal almond milk(practically no protein, but only 60 calories)
2 cups of this shit (130 calories per cup, 10g of protein)
2 scoops of why protein (110 calories, 24g protein)

Total 540 calories and 68g protein, not bad. You can do 4 cups almond milk and 2 scoops of whey and then it's only 340 calories.

Personally I hate water and whey, taste like shit. I use the above as a meal (typically breakfast right after working out).

Months and months of discipline and failures.

I've found not being 100% super strict has helped a lot. I'll go out to eat with friends, get some fast food, but just lean towards healthier or lower calorie options. However just starting out I'd avoid this for now.

For every day, I eat two fruits like an apple and orange. Helps keep you full due to fiber content, helps hydration, kills sweet cravings, etc.
Veggies can be snacked on heavily. Still count them, but if you're hungry and have awhile till your next meal, eat some damn carrots or broccoli.
Beans will keep you full for awhile.
Rice and oats will keep you full, but they're high calorie, be careful measuring them.
Drink lots of water.
Pick up chewing gum. Minty kind, not fruity.

I'm getting back into running now (got my legs way too big doing lifting) and pretty much doing pure cardio. Hard to say mate. We here track our calories and try to eat 500 below our estimated maintenance. You're doing well with the cardio, try and incorporate some weightlifting and increase the protein content of your diet.

I started at 125kg and now I'm 102kg but I still look like utter shit, as you lose weight you think you're superman and I thought that by 100kg I would literally be the most attractive person on the planet but alas I'm still at least 7-10kg overweight with a big stomach and bitchtits. 6'3" 260 currently down from 295 here. been noticing my overall maxes dropping dramatically this past month, after having been on a cut since xmas. i've been cutting at approx 1300-1400 total calories daily, lifting 5x a week with 30mins of moderate cardio (aka bike and not running because asthma) to wrap up my sessions. should i bother increasing my calories to restore some of my gains, or continue the cut?

Otherwise not too long, you might be eating the "wrong" foods as well, ie calorie dense take out instead of veggies+chicken breast.
