Anyone else tried Citrulline? I started using it recently and although I don't feel it doing anything for my workouts, the increased vascularity from it is ridiculous. I'm a fat fuck and I can see veins swell up that shouldn't be visible at my % bodyfat.
I'm just a cardiofag, though. DEXA scanned at ~8.5% fat a month ago.

Seriously doesn't. I've done both, martial arts and lifting and it doesn't help at all because strikes are a sort of wiping motion while lifting is a continuous movement through a full ROM, generally with no consideration for increasing the movement speed.
Hell, it doesn't even translate into wrestling. Only the highest level fighters need to lift weights and that's only for muscle and tendon conditioning, not because it increases punching power considerably.
Nowadays I lift because fighting competitively will fuck your body up so I don't care to maintain fighting ability anymore, but if you powerlift because you think it's good training for a fight then let me tell you that you should probably rethink your training.

now before you call me fat it's actually the opposite, i was skeleton mode for the longest time (basically my entire life up until age 20) and had super vascular arms despite being skinny. fucking hated it, and now that my arms aren't skeleton anymore i still wish it'd just go away

I can do tuck L sit and wall HS pushups. I can hold a proper L sit for maybe 4 - 5 seconds, which means I'm close to moving onto that level. For static holds he recommends moving onto the next level once you can do it for at least 6 seconds
But you're right in that one shortcoming of that book is that he doesn't really cover legs/lower body. There are explosive bodyweight exercises you can do for legs but he doesn't really cover them
He is on reddit. I remember him saying to incorporate squats and deaadlifts for the legs and do the bodyweight stuff for upperbody. You should probably do that to balance out your physique.
Nice arm OP. There's a lot of haters in this thread. I know firsthand how much chicks dig vascular arms. Granted, you should have vascularity coupled with a thick and muscular forearm. This shit drives women nuts. They love seeing a strong forearm. I've had several different grills on different occasions rub and grope my forearm for this reason. Actually a couple of them have said how sexy my veiny forearms are. Get this. When a chick sees the veins you got going on in your forearms she automatically associates that with a healthy cardiovascular system aka good blood flow in your dick. Or take up a hobby/job in manual labor where you're constantly using your forearms. My brother is a big guy (6'4" 314 lbs) - the dude doesn't lift, all he does is skip rope and drum and he's got fucking rock-solid 16 inch forearms.

Roiders will be most vascular, followed by skeles. What you want is size AND vascularity. Otherwise it's not impressive unless they're extremely big but not particularly vascular
