Is 1,000 pound club strong, or baby's first day at the gym?
It's fine goal for your first few years of lifting.
>>35786641
obviously it depends on your body weight
>but mom, i'm a powershitter!
Ask your fat mother
>>35786727
I weigh 175, 6'2"
>tfw bench 275 1RM
>still only in the 800 lb club
feels like shit senpai
>>35786746
holy shit lol
it's okay for a normie gym, but nothing special if you're comparing yourself to actually strong people.
which you really should desu, don't settle for low standards and always try to remain the smallest fish in the pond. I was stalled at a 1100lb total for literally a year and a half, I was the strongest guy at my gym...
I moved and found a new gym, it was one that actual athletes and coaches used, I was absolutely blown away by the people there and was easily in the bottom 10 strength wise for men my age and weight. it really motivated me to get stronger.
>>35786746
Your squat and dead must be pathetic..
I'd say it's a great level of strength to reach in 2-3 years. much stronger than the average man and totally achievable natty
>tfw in the 1000lb club with just squat and deadlift @ 192 lbs
feelsgoodman
>>35786796
whats bench?
>>35786796
315 tBh
>>35786809

>>35786819

>>35786784

I bench twice a week and squat once a week... I just hate squatting :(
>>35786641
>tfw just 5lbs away
Hope to PR bench and/or squat this week
>>35786830

>>35786641

>140x3 ohp
Am I gonna make it and does OHP count?
>>35786830
You don't count OHP, senpai.
>>35786830
>>35786838
What is going on?
>>35786641
Dunno m8. Don't feel particularly stronk but IRL there's a few % of people out there that can do it.
I guess it's a good natty benchmark if you're not interested in competing in PL or strongman.
>>35786830
>1000 lb club reporting in
>counting OHP
This better be b8.
>>35786796
How's SS going for you? Must be full t-rex mode.
>>35786861
6'2", 210 lbs, bout 20% bf
My legs are actually pretty big because I used to do cycling, they just happen to be weak. These days I run a lot and have been losing the weight. I look pretty normal, but if you saw me you'd probably guess I weigh 185
>>35786934
I never ran SS tBh.
and no, I'm just a manlet and have proportionately small femurs so I can squat p well
>>35786830
You're in the 860 club because it's only the big 3 lifts not Ohp dipshit
> squat 220
> deadlift 352
> bench 176
> tfw not even close and yuropean weights mess up all the shit
>>35786641
625lb deadlift
375lb bench
I never even squat
Welcome me to the 1000lb club
>>35786704
>>35786784

What are you on about? I got it in under 6 months
>>35787054
Height and weight?
>>35786830
Is it a home gym?
>>35787054
yeah, I am with you. got to 1000lb s/b/d within like 5.5 months of starting.
>>35786641
Guy at my previous gym was in the 1000kg club.
>>35787119
Yeah but that's half as easy since its metric
>>35787143
Don't know if your baiting, but made me look.
1000 pounds is 453kg.
That means even I am in the 1000 pound club.
Pretty shitty club IMO
>>35787204
>think 1000lbs, yeah i must be a little bit far
>do the convertion
>tfw 1058lbs club
>pretty shit club actually
>>35786935
>My legs are actually pretty big
This is what every person who neglects legs says.
>>35786641
I thought this was just deadlift lol yeah i guess i'm in the club.
495x2 DL

pls no bully
dl 405
squt 305
bench 225
only 935 after 22 months
Has anyone here done the cube routine and can vouch for its effectiveness? I currently do a PPL and just go with the rotation 4-5 days a week.
>365x5 SLDL
>335 1rm squat
>245 1rm bench
pretty sure my deadlift 1rm is enough to get me to the 1k club. i just havent done it for awhile and forgot what it was
>>35786830
Your total is 860 retard
136 bw
425 dl
235 bench
365 squat
>inb4 manlet detected

>>35786641
I can back lift two Kia souls
>>35789025
Unless you are auschwitz-stronk, you are not benching 235 at 136.

>>35787054
> implying everybody else has identical genetics, athletic backgrounds, and training habits
Be reasonable. For a noob who casually lifts a few times every weak, a couple years is a decent timeline
>>35786641
it's strong for normies but realistically you can achieve it in anywhere from 6-12 months(it really depends on the person, if they were athletic or not, etc.)
415 squat
475 diddly/ 490 sumo (i only count conv. in my personal total)
285 bench
so 1175 about a year in, i played a shitload of sports prior to lifting though
>>35790436
same boat pretty much
300 bench
400 squat
500 DL
1200 total (dunno if I can do more, probably but just wanted to get these)
body is junk looking tho, i fell for the powerlifting meme.
hopefully i can cut to 200, at 215 atm 5'10
>>35789464
>implying those are impressive lifts
Took me 5 years to break 1000.
Started at 6'0 125lbs at 17 years old
Bench: 35 (couldn't do bar)
Squat: 45
Deadlift: ~70
Just set a new bench pr of 365 at 229lbs in November and gonna try 375 on feb 12.
Must be nice to be one of the guys that got that in a year.
>>35791730
you put on 100 lbs in 5 years?
>>35791748
Yes
>>35791671
maybe they're metric
165 body weight
545 deadlift
405 skwaat
....235 bench.
My shoulders are geriatric from almost two decades of wrestling.
It's a solid base but nothing extraordinary. If you train with some sort of split where you're, for example, only squatting once every 3 or 4 days, then you won't make very fast progress. But a strength routine where you squat and bench 3 times a week and deadlift 2 or 3 times will have you get very strong very fast.
>>35787703
>yfw they neglect legs because their legs are actually pretty big anyway.
>>35787104
got it after first 3 month of ss. not that hard.
are these numbers representative of fit?
i thought we were stronk motherfuckers mang - i feel like a weakling, like a beta mofocker, even with best lifts in my gym - but i expected better form /fit/ at least, pls someone come and destroy my stats
500 dead
410 squat
340 bench
>>35786641
2/3/4 plate is 945lbs total
>in real life you are strong
>in BBing you are mediocre
>in strongmen you are a baby
>>35791730
>Must be nice to be one of the guys that got that in a year.
Don't worry child, you too can find your inner strangth and use it to e-stat.
If you fuckers can't get a 1k total in under a year it's time to quit. Evdry single kne of my buddies were able to. If you can't then you aren't trying hard enough and you'll never make it.
Started seriously working out again in October. Current 1RM @ 160lbs
Bench 194lbs
Squat 220lbs
Deadlift 273lbs
Total = 687lbs
How am I doing for working out 2-3x a week since october /fit/?
Cut for my first year and didnt make much gains
started bulk in september at:
170 bw
165 bench
175 squat
240 dead
Now at 188 bw
240 bench
325 squat
385 deadlift
So close to 1000 lb club brehs...
>>35786641
Bench - 215 (foot drive clicked with me after testing this max so hoping for the best next time)
Squat - 350
Deadlift - 365
70 pounds away and I've been working out like 3 months
>>35794675
nice work fatass
Not babby's first day, but any male that puts their mind to it should be able to squat 405, dead 405, and bench 190 within a couple of years.
>>35793413
If you've only been working out since October you probably shouldn't be wasting your time testing 1RMs.
Also, with a bench of 194 your squat should much higher. Like 350-400.
>>35795533
nice t-rex mode.
barely over plate and a half bench & 4 plate squat?
>>35791812
I feel you.
435 deadlift
437 squat
220 bench
140 OHP
my shoulders are dyel-mode from shit-tier genetics and/or misspent youth I guess.
Joined the 1000lb club last week; feels good man.
Bench: 225
Squat: 315
Deadlift: 350
OHP: 100
Curl: 25 (each arm)
>>35795471
i love you (no homo)
>>35786641
Got it after 2 months.
Squat 245
Deadlift 280
Bench 145
OHP 105
Frontsquat 225
>people who include deadlifts into their calculations
It should be power cleans.
Got it in high school with just squat & dead.
Squat 425
Bench 325
Deadlift 465
I haven't been pushing my strength gains for quite a few months, became complacent. I know I'm good for a 500 DL, 465 went up fairly easy. I just went back to a 4 day U/L split which worked tremendously when I tried it 2 years ago.
>>35788342
ur mums gay an no 1 wil evar luv u
400 dead lift
325 squat
225 bench
Only 50 away after 2 years, can't say I'm not disappointed in my progress
haha i got the 1000 with only my dl, romanian dl, row and leg press
didnt even need to include the others! (ohp, curl, bench, skulls, etc..)
>>35794675
I'm 190 pounds at 6'0 loser
