Spagetti with ground beef and tomato sauce, 3 slices of bread, thats about 700 calories.
Currently on a cutting diet of 2000 calories a day
It's not hard at all, if you wondered I only had 320 calories in the morning
one serving of cooked spag nuudlls is 220kcal. that right there is about 2 servings, which is about 450kcal. a piece of wheat bread has about 70kcal, x3=210kcal, which is 660kcal. then tomato sauce is like 100kcal max
oh holy shit this is only about 750. you are my hero OP, new favorite dinner. use wheat noodles next time though
It's easy to cut man and count calories. Also I can see my v line and obliques for the first time since high school, but I was solely in high school so it doesnt count.
i actually have a bigger issue bulking. if i don't watch my diet closely, i consistently lose weight while lifting. OK with it now (been lifting since early november) so I'll just keep the trend until bulking season. V-Line is coming in, but no abs yet. give me 2 months, I'll make it. dropped from 160 to 150 since I started
Are you me? I was 140pounds last year may , fast metabolism, then lean bulked also had a burger here and then. By December I was at 165+ pounds which is amazing considering the fact that I have real fast metabolism and I'm 5'9. And yes in one day I could loose 5 pounds if I didnt eat enough or played too much video games or watched tv.
Then I decided to cut by the middle of December 2015 because I felt like not having 6 pack sucks. Now im at about 160 because I was pissed when I saw that I was at 155pounds and 155 pounds is too low. So I'm pretty cut right now.

The veggie saute looks amazing, fish looks like it might be over though but has a nice sear. A bit of sauce and some herb garnish would be nice, but isn't necessary for a weekday meal really.

-2 servings of fruit
-serving of oats
-scoop of whey(with water or unsweetened almond milk)
- 4 to 8 oz of salad mix
-2 servings of vegetables(adding up to 8 oz at max)
-4 to 6 oz of protein (chicken,beef,or fish)
Pro tip - when board of salad, mix it up with some rice. 1 cup is enough when cutting. Overall any food is fine as long as it has low or no sugar. Add healthy fats as well and try to keep it to about 4 servings a day. Usually this will be the cheese and dressing for your salads.
Insulin spike after working out. Look it up. Plus it's fruit. At max its around 200 calories for 2 servings and that's being generous. With a scoop of whey and 1 oz of oats, it equals to about less then 400 calories. Get a food scale and track on MFP.
