if you played sports in high school you would have seen 3 plate squat and 4 plate deadlift as normal for a 16-18 year old who gym'd more than 3 months.

If you stayed inside and played wow your entire youth it'll be a struggle but if you didn't waste the free steroid like gains of your teens you'd have seen it.

Its really funny when you've been lifting for years and you get the see the wildly different "normals" per gym.

College gym, where the athletes have a different facility... DYELS everywhere. Average person hasn't lifted more than 3 months. People come into there from nothing as a freshmen and sophmore year they are the top 10% of the gym, but still shitty. Worse they don't push as hard because they don't realize how far behind others they are.

Non-planet fatass gym? Huge gap between the people who have been there under a year and the people who have been lifting since high school. Lift for 10 years (26 year old who did football), have good genetics and you are in the top half of the gym or lift for 2 years and roid.

Crossfag boxes have the same kind of variety from amateur box to "we want to field a games team". On one end expect retards teaching middle aged women and teenagers to do oly lifts poorly, on the other end expect people who are beating themselves up for missing their chance to go (or stay) pro in a different sport and while they never trained for strength being an actual athlete puts them ahead of 90% of people in almost everything, hence why they want to try the unfocused crossfit training and get the "hurr its competition" ego boost.

The fact is fitness isn't this thing where you are equal. Its this thing where a couple solid years of work will put you ahead of most people regardless of your current condition but you are fucking delusional if you think chad picked up starting strength and then got abs to fuck chicks. Chad was ahead of you physically since his parents put him in multiple sports before he was a teen.
