If at any time a person is blaming somebody using it wrong as a design error that is how you know the design isn't that great, especially if that person only made a slight mistake while attempting to lift very heavy weights.

I skipped yesterday when my bros went but it's bench day. How do I safely bench without killing myself? I'd use the squat racks with the safety bars but I don't want to look like an idiot. Although it is 10pm on a saturday.

This shit sucks. I went into the gym with him, hammered away at weights for the first time in my life and had a genuine blast, even working in some treadmill and heavy bag cardio, and now he just whines about being tired and sore all the time, and spends more money on useless shit and less on food.

Fucking hell, he's a great friend but he whines about being sore and only goes to the gym once every two weeks at most. Has the balls to boast about how much he can lift (lifted longer than I do, but only gets 2-3kgs above me in dumbells and we're even in bench) to anybody that will listen, but cries about being sore or tired every time I mention we should go to the gym.
So now I'm just buying my own membership and going to hit it 3/4 days a week. If I ignore his bullshit I should be able to make it, brehs.

Tfw I had a gymbro, but he supposedly has elbow pains from "lifting too much" (never even hit 1 pl8 on bench) and used it as an excuse to never lift since March.
Weird part is he claimed to have knee pains as well, but he would squat for over 30 minutes 4 times a week and drink at least half a gallon of milk a day.
I miss having a gymbro though. When I went with him, I had a lot of fun cracking jokes inbetween sets and being able to talk to him about shit. Now I just run alone and do bodyweight exercises at home.
Serious question: how the fuck am I supposed to do a bench/squat weight heavy enough to do 6-8 reps without a gymbro? Am I consigned to the smith machines and dumbell press instead of benching and squattin?
