Sometimes, in life, I use stairs to get where I'm going. For muscle definition, when taking the stairs, is it better to take them 1 at a time or 2 at a time? is there an obvious answer?

Muscle definition is a function of muscle size and low body fat. You should adjust your training and diet based on whichever one you're more lacking in.
