Is an 8 minute mile considered slow?
>>35684592
Average, I guess.
>>35684592
Is it faster than yesterday? Cause that's the real gauge.
>>35684592
The average is 15 mins per mile
Depends on who you're comparing it to.
>fat Tina from accounting
8 minutes is lightning quick
>moderately fit crossfit faggot
8 minutes is probably on the slower end
>college athlete for any sport that requires substantial running
8 minutes isn't even trying
>>35684650

This
Anyone here love running, but absolutely hate doing it uphill?
Fuck that shit is torture for me.
It really depends on the weather 2 weeks ago I ran a 6:24 mile it was 70 degrees, today I ran a 8:57 mile it was 17 degrees. As long as you keep getting better that's all that counts
If you're 21, yes. If you're 40, no.
Is an 8 hour arm considered big?
It depends on the distance a 5 mile run at 8min miles isn't quite worth bragging about but would take some doing, but 8 mins for one mile isn't really fast.
If your talking general fitness then really 5:45-6 minutes flat for one mile would be pretty fit.
But obviously there are runners that would do it in 4 minutes easy. So it really depends
If you're a middle school girl then 8 minutes isn't too bad

No, in fact I hate running UNLESS it's uphill. I do all my running on a treadmill so I can run uphill the whole time.
>>35684592
>tfw started middle school I could only run the mile in 24 minutes cuz fat
>when i graduated high school Inhad the fastest mile in my school district's history
Still graduated a virgin tho
>>35684661
>crossfit
Most "elite" crosshiters have absolute garbage run times. In the range of 8 min miles.
