Hey /fit/ my birthday is on the 19th. If I do a water fast on tomorrow will it lessen the damage? I know I'm gonna go over maintenance because of birthday food.

lad, the most you could possibly put on if you went fully hedonistic is like what... a kilo? drinking and eating junk will probably lead to you filling up your glycogen and gaining water weight, but next to nothing else
a protein fast would be better for you, just eat your daily protein from lean sources and that's it.
be sure to kill it in the gym the day before and the morning of your birthday, so that your glycogen is close to empty and some of the surplus goes to filling it
