This seems to me to just be asking for some kind of tendon damage or shoulder injury. Why do 1 arm pullups when there are far more effective/efficient ways of making normal pullups more challenging?

pullups hurt my pec/delt tie-in on my left side, it's been this way ever since I started lifting and I've always stuck to chin ups or neutral grip setups
am I really missing out on anything?
