Not so much cutting but trying to lose weight. Was kinda rough the first 4 days. Now it's great and actually enjoyable.
Rate my diet:

Is eating oatmeal 3 times a day good for cutting? Of course I'll have a little bit of others like chicken breast and I'll definitely add a multivitamin in there, but I fucking love oatmeal. Is it possible to cut if your diet consists of mostly oatmeal?
that's my normal way of eating. I was in skelly until I started boxing and eating around 3500-4000kcals a day.
back to square one now though:

I'm full pretty much all the time. I have a sixpack so it's ok I guess but I really think I'm going to lose a fair bit of muscle.
Why are diets so bloody hard to maintain?
My cutting diet:

i do IF and eat whatever the fuck i want in a massive, satisfying post workout meal that along with black coffee and green tea keeps me satiated for the rest of the day. a big slab of meat, gravy, fries, waffles and icecream for desser etc. i also enjoy getting hammered on at least 2 days a week though i stick to clear liquors. im effortlessly losing fat on conistent basis while maintaining lbm, progressing on all my lifts, and feeling awesome. enjoy eating like a female model you turbocuck.

I like grilling my food to minimise the use of oil.

>rub with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and garlic
>throw on the grill for indirect cooking
>do something else for an hour's time or so
I recently made a "cheat meal" where I took a whole cod, cut out its... Back bone? (not a native English speaker), placed it at 2.5 kg, filled it with cornbread (90g) and some few bacon bits. (53g). Spiced with aforementioned spice mix, wrapped in aluminium foil, on medium heat for 40 minutes.
The whole thing came out to ~40 protein / <50 fat / <60 carbs at 2650 kcal. Fed me and four other guys, SSS+, will eat again.

That's a crappy diet, anon. Do you not feel like shit all day? Well done on dropping the weight (though that's a lot to lose in a month and a half), but you're losing muscle and water faster than fat.

i kept the weights on all my lifts up but that might be because i couldnt lift much in the first place
i dont know how it works but it works and i dont have to be autistic about eating out-of-diet things like on christmas. i just eat less of it. it's nice
i cant stand coffee. cola is cheap and tasty with sandwiches. and 2 kcal per 100ml is completely negligible

That's not what I do, though. I go low and slow, indirect heat or foil wrapped. I'll give you the benefit of doubt until I can get back to my computer and sit down with the article, though.
So I'm a former fattie (6'0 about 200lbs right now, used to be 280ish and I still have some ways to go) and I've changed my diet a little bit having moved into a apartment with a little diner beside my place.
I usually become starved around 10am so ill go down and have a huge breakfast (Homefries, 2 eggs, 3 sausages, 2 slices of toast with butter, a pancake slathered in maple syrup and all the rest slathered in ketchup washed down with practically a gallon of black coffee and water each.)
I tend to eat very little else throughout the day however, I wasnt at all hungry by Lunch and by Dinner all I had was some oatmeal, grapefruit, and milk and I usually try average about 500 calories burned throughout the day.
Will this diet kill me?
Clean cutting here from a huge bf% of 32.5%. Lean meats, oats, eggs, dairy, lots of veggies.
Lost 6kgs in 3 weeks, struggling only with getting enough protein.
