what routine will get you fast leg strength gains
I need leg gains too homie.
My squat is pretty low so I'm just working on bringing that up
Nothing quite like the bench press to work the legs, you see it might sound silly but the triceps and pecs will actually transfer the shock from lifting down to the legs making it a leg workout you have got to try it.
muscle confusion is a crucial part of my workout regiment, For example, i start doing warm up reps for my bench to make my body think im gona bench then as soon as i finish my last rep i immedialely set the bar to its appropriate position,slap on 2pl8s and start squatting. My muscles get so confuse that they start growing faster and faster. Try it out.
20 rep squats
when i started squatting i had a 100kgx1 rep max with a belt and horribly rounded back after like 2 months of training.
Squatting 3 times a week with 2.5kg increments, I went from 60x20 to 77.5x20 , then continued like 80x18 (80 x 6 was my PR before)
I ended up getting 100x7 in about 2 months.
A few months later I tried 20 rep squats again, went from 65x20 to 90x20.
The only mistake I had the first time was using a belt in every 20 rep squat set. My core was horribly weak, only start using a belt when your back starts rounding during the last few reps.
