Don't see a progress thread in the catalog, need some motivation for my cut
just posted this in a cbt thread but might as well post this here. Weights in photos are not accurate
left pic before i started lifting, right is after 18 months of lifting+diet.
5'6 220 to 5'8 192 these pictures are 2 years apart
Bear mode here I come. 275lbs to 240lbs at 6'3". Keep on keepin on
Guys, I made it from 112kg to 95kg, now I'm pausing because I have loose skin. I am so fucking afraid of loosing more weight because of this shit, I really couldn't take it. And now I have pain in my knee and shoulders which keep me from lifting and the inept doctors cant do anything about it. Should I end myself? I cant make it with these parameters.
8 months of a proper diet, 1 month of lifting.
Any good? I know I'm still DYEL.
>tfw also barrel chested
>tfw guys at the gym all think i have invisible lat syndrome when i just can't have my arms pressed against my massive rib cage
>tfw i'm scared to develop lats because i'll probably look like somebody glued slabs of meat to a birdcage
>dude the fuck
>work on your legs
LMAO. You come to that conclusion based on a picture of flexing my back?
Let's see your legs, shrimp
>fat fuck has been lifting his massive bulk his whole life with every limb
>stops being a fat faggot for a minute
>his muscles are developed from years of abuse
>thinks he's superior now
Kill yourself you disgusting faggot. You lost weight but never forget how you were before. You're not better than anyone else.
Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.
I want to start. Should I start running to reduce my weight and build up my stamina via cardio, then work on my muscles?
Or back to the sticky with me?
Are those abs for ants?
Nice progress tho senpai desu san
I know I'm supposed to keep cutting. But I don't want to let go of my already low numbers ;-;
Currently at maintenance tho
Easy to try and descredit what I did and assumed I just cut.
I literally had zero muscle mass when I started, I didn't just get big from being a fat fuck m80
Do i look like i weight 185?
Do i have potential?
>Someone did something I don't have the will power to do
Better call him a juicer
he didn't say how long it took him. So you cant really say with any authority he juiced, all we know his he had the same phone so 2yr contract gotta assume about 2 years till anon says otherwise.
pic is what i think you look like typing this
get a load of this guy rofl
2 Year Progress.
Started at ~62kg now at 76kg.
Bench 1x95kg, Dead, 1x140kg, Squat 2x120kg, OHP 1x55kg
Progressions slowed down alot. Any tips?
Year and a half progress.
141lbs - 195lbs.
Annoyed at the moment because I'm not eating like I used to and failed at my goal of hitting 215lbs by 2016 so I can long-term cut after.
I hope my skin holds up this well. Started my cut just after Christmas, aiming to go down from 175lb to 145lb then lean bulk for life. I was 220lb at 5'7 when I was 16, started exercising and have been between 150 and 175lb for the last 10 years. I've been fat then flabby for about 14 years and I really hope genetics are on my side and I get to rock a tight beach bod for all the effort I'm finally investing. I hope we all achieve our goals and find satisfaction.
Today was hard for me. I was at the grocery and i had a really strong palpable urge to get some reese's pieces and licorice, I stared at it on the candy shelf and looked at the macros for a long time. Instead i got some more almond milk, ham, yams and cottage cheese. Why the fuck are some days ez as fuck to evade that junk and others it's like a legitimate fight? I know everyone makes fun of fatfucks but i can't really get enjoyment from belittling them because i understand how it feels to be fat and fight that addiction.
6'1 165lbs down from 220 in August. Lifts are still pathetic because 1450kcal, Cheat days on Halloween/thanksgiving/xmas. Only about 20 more lbs of fat to go before i can start eating at my TDEE.
I think I'm going to start implementing like 15min of stairmaster or something at the end of my workouts now.
I'm also trying to superset most compound lifts now with some sort of accessory "for cardio" if that does anything.
I'm a type 1 diabetic and I had no insulin for around 8 months when diagnosed because they were still trying to figure shit out with me before prescribing - anyways, this meant I wasn't allowed to eat high carb high sugar shit or my blood glucose would go stupid high, so I used to eat a big chunk of candy, swallow a piece of the chunk in my mouth, and spit out the rest to get over the urge.
Sounds stupid, but it worked for me. My consequences were obviously higher, but it helped.
Well i just bought all those clean foods and when i got home i ate a balanced dinner like i normally do and i felt much better after. for some reason i just had an unnatural urge to gorge on candy today.
glad i didn't.
Good for you man. I know it's hearing a record player, but when you start making it a routine to eat better, you really do stop craving the bullshit things you casually ate as comfort food.
I didn't care much anymore for sweets or soda anymore when I started. Only guilt food I was eating were burgers, but they were always lettuce wrapped. Just have to watch out for fat, salt, processed meat, if you care for that stuff.
>tfw my dad never complimented my gains
why lift brehs?
no breh, I still have it to some kind of degree.
If I am in warm environment, they get puffy. When I'm in action they're mostly completely normal or when I'm cold. There isnt much I can do about it but it stopped bothering me, nonetheless im going to let them cut out in the summer for 3k$ and thanks breh :3
You know, I never really posted to these. clothed pictures, but its something
About 1 year of lifting and dieting
Maintained the after for about the last year, right now I am on another cut to get down to 10% BF
Creatine to increase stamina and be able to be more energetic in the gym, resulting in slightly more gains.
Any other performance drug is an androgenic.
You can use insulin for its anabolic effect too, but you literally risk dying from hypoglycemic shock.
Not being able to lift more than evolution has ever prepared you to lift is not weakness.
I can't fly. I'd fucking love to be able to fly like a bird and move freely in three dimensions, but I do not consider not being able to fly a weakness.
Get your mentality into perspective and stay away from androgenics.
I eat around 3300 for maintenance. Eating enough has never been a problem for me (obviously), I can easily eat 4,000 cals from just "clean" food.
Hopefully I can get down to 120kg for this summer. If I go any lower I'll just lose too much strenght. I'm happy/strongest at 15-20% BF
Recovering fatass here, I was 130kg at my heaviest, went down to 105kg and then back up to 118 again over a few months. I'm at it again, proper diet and more exercise, feel better already and I'm down to 114kg. I'll achieve sub 100kg this time for sure.
No problem, pic related. But as I said, you can't really tell from the large shirt.
Start liftan, watch the weight fall the fuck off. Plus you'll gain muscles which will make you lose weight more.
It feels great too, you'll have more energy etc. I highly suggest it! I was there once!
I'm fully aware of that, but I really don't feel like it right now and I'm busy as fuck. Once I'm <100kg and my life is less stressful I'll definitely start. Although I was playing around with the thought of investing a lot of time in going to the gym and being "that guy" who turned from a fatso to a good looking dude in a year, would be entertaining honestly.
Shit, some really inspiring stuff ITT. I realized my own progress the other day when my wife's boyfriend came over to the house for some beers. He's a typical meathead Chad but I was looking at his ass and I'm sure that I now have noticeably bigger glutes than him. Thanks a lot, Mark. Thanks, /fit/. We're all gonna make it.
6'1, went from ~250 to 165
lifting for 4 months.
Recovering anorexic, I've gained around 30 pounds so far (5'11")
I'm gonna guess here.
Assuming diet and lifting consistently the ENTIRE time, meaning ~1 "cheat day" (eating at maintenance) a month.
Assuming the goal was to lose 2 pounds of fat every week.
Assuming that in the first month weight shed off pretty fast (usually does).
So let's say 15 pounds lost in 4 weeks from 280 to 265. Then losing another 80 pounds at 2 pounds per week for 40 weeks to get down to 185.
From there I would imagine things slowed down a lot. To get that kind of muscle definition takes a lot of time.
So about a year to shed the weight, then another year of lifting.
I'm talking out of my ass here but I don't see why this wouldn't be achievable in 2 years if you never lost sight of your goal.
thanks family, about to start cutting to 160-175 so i can be lean for the first time in my life
>fat as fuck
>start doing C25k
>get up to my fifth week and lose motivation
>diet goes out the window for about a month
>think fuck it one day
>sign up to do a 5k christmas day with senpai
>struggle through it, start dieting again
>did another 5k today, walked a bit but jogged 75% of it
>did it in 40 minutes
>there's a free 5k set up every saturday down the road from me
>gonna try smash one out every weekend for a while
>bought a Garmin Forerunner 220 today, got the strava app
6'4 about 130kgs or so atm.
No it's not you idiot. I purposely started doing this when I didn't have insulin to fight cravings of eating sugar for 8 months - something that would kill me if I ate in excess without slin.
Now I eat whatever the fuck I want with slin.
Go fuck yourself.
Left: Oct 6, 226 lbs
Right: Earlier this week, 193 lbs
>Diagnosed with degenerative nerve disease a few years ago
>Thought id end up in a wheelchair
>Start lifting at 100kg/225lb bodyweight
>1 year later deadlift 5pl8, squatting 4pl8 and benching 2pl8, but now i weigh closer to 130kg/286lb
>On a 3-6 month cut for summer
Even with my disease getting in the way i had amazing progress in terms of strength, and im gonna assume i will look decent as well when i slim down a bit.
We're all gonna make it brehs, i believe in you.
/fit/, I'm proud to announce I successfully completed my first day of workout training. I began with a mile on the treadmill. After that, I did three 10-rep shoulder presses of two 20 lb. weights. Finally, I did three sets four 12-rep shoulder conditioning exercises using two 5 lb. weights.
Unfortunately I don't have a before image because I never really was fat, but this could be my starting image, I'm at the gym now.
>mfw the red shirt one is me right now
I was thinking about skipping my workout tonight but damn this is inspiring. Great work anon.
General fitness question, how hard is it to lose body fat in your face? I've always had a chubby face and I'd like to try to get rid of it. How long can I expect it to take to go away? About what body fat %? current stats are 230lbs, about 23% body fat, 6'0"
I can't find the routine image I follow. It's that Power-Hypertrophy Intermediate Routine.
I might switch though.
My diet consists of:
Mixed Vegetables (stir fry)
Some times beans
