Can anyone post some /fit/ guides, the kinds with illustrations and instructions? I could only find one on this board as of right now and when I try Google image search it comes up with nothing useful.

Yea those are perfect, thank you guys very much.
If you have any more I'd appreciate it, how ever these should help a lot.

I do a similar workout volume to this
With a warm up and stretching a bit and rests and sorting weights ect
Takes me about an hour and a half

But yes it's not how long you spend at the gym but how you spend that time that is more important

Are the posted guides appropriate for a beginner who's yet to begin?

Read the sticky
SS or greyskull LP are great for beginners
Dont worry about them being primarily for strength. As a beginner strength is pretty much aesthetics

Strong lifts 5x5 is really good too

What's the SS stand for
>>35502123
Start with strength routine. I prefered SL just because it has a little more volume than SS. Once you have a good foundation and added real weight to your lifts then start with an intermediate bodybuilding routine. Do not forget to add accessory lifts to SS or SL accordingly so you don't end up with the t Rex meme. Starting out too fast with these high volume BB routines are a recipe for injury and never making it.

This is great because those books are like 95% text and I wasn't expecting to have to read anything in order to start becoming fit, apart from maybe a diet guide.
