So i decided to squat today after doing diddies, and back. Since i was nice and warm by then dept was really easy to achieve. So my question to you guys is what is the best way to warm up for heavy ass squats.
warm-up sets
>deadlifts before squats
im never doing that shit ever again family, my working sets felt like 2 tons.
anyways, do alot of light warmup sets or 10 mins cardio if you want. you will feel the best when you've worked up a light sweat

>avoiding injuries is now a meme
Don't ever fucking reply to me again unless you're contributing to the thread.

warm up by doing warm up sets with low weights

> shaker bottle
> tights
> belt
> meme shoes
> not even atg
kek
Basically everything in Chris Duffins video on warmups.
>B-but it takes too long
I'd rather take those 5-10 mins to properly warm up than snap my shit.
>Friend of mine
>Was going to try sumo diddles for the first time
>Rollerbladed to the gym
>That's warmup enough, right?
He pulled his entire goddamn groin
Light cardio, foam roll, dynamic stretches, band work etc. Then just start from the bar and work your way up

>romaleos
>meme shoes
They're a meme colour, the shoes themselves are great
On New Years day, didn't stretch before squats, went to snap city, knocked out my lower back
Went to Osteopath today, got it knocked back in, also going to physiotherapy over next 2 weeks, gonna cost me $100
Lesson?
Fucking stretch.

>warming up doesn't do anything
0/10
especially if you are doing ATG, warming up can be essential for mobility.
I'll just copy this from some other thread
Here's my warm up
Move every single join CCW and CW 5-10 times
Shoulder warm up: YTWK 3-5 sets
Ab warm up: Rotation, forward and sideways
Hip warm up: Leg swings mostly
Hamstring, hip and calves stretches 30 seconds (1 or 2 times)
Assume squatting position, stay in it for like 1 minute, maximum depth
Overhead squats with a random stick (or barbell) 2-3 sets
Then I start squatting the bar, adding 20 kg each time till I hit my weight.
I bike 20 minutes.
1 warm up set with the bar
Stretching my legs
1 warm up set with 15%
Stretching again, upper body too
1 warm up set with 30%
pause
1 warm up set with 50%
