I already know everything about OP just from his post. He is probably in high school, doesn't have a job and relies on his parents to buy him stuff. He found this cool 4chan site and later discovered the fashion section. OP really liked the clothes but they were just too expensive. Then he saw these cdg converse. They were converse but they had a little sticker on them and cost a lot more, which made them a lot cooler than regular converse. He bought them and asks for inspo so he can wear something that will look as cool as his Internet fashion friends

I've never understood these shoes. Are they just Converse or is the build quality better than their run of the mill chinese stuff? Do they fit differently? Different materials? Or is it just the fact that they're CDG? I mean, in all these pictures they look alright, but I'm wondering what justifies the higher price tag.

I just bought them because I wanted an off-white sneaker and didn't want the stupid colored stripes the Converse by Converse have. And these were really easy to find didn't feel like looking up alternatives.

they material of the sole/cap is different and more minimalistic. there's no black or red stripe, they wear/age better, they have a black stripe in the back, the canvas really does seem better, the laces they come with are longer, the converse logo on the inside is actually stitched on, the canvas does feel better quality/color and the contrast between the laces is good (not cream laces like on cream converse out of the box but white), also the rubber parts are more of a cream and like this rubberish material than cheap plasticy material on normal converse, the etching on the bottom and back are high quality and part of that same cream rubber, metal rivet eye hole things for the laces seems better quality honestly, sole inside has cdg play logo and seems to be holding up pretty well as well as the inner material
