Hard mode: no manbuns

what I am currently going for.. Im at the right length but need to grow out for cut
Working on this, how am i doing?
>pic related is me
kek. i tried.
maybe the middle one in this pic is more to your taste
Long hair is the mark of a truly attractive male.
>tfw growing out my hair and going thorugh the awkward phase
>tfw 1 month short of 2 years without a haircut
Everyone keeps asking if my hair is as long as I want it, but I think I want at least another year, maybe even two. Already have hair maybe a bit longer than >>9410428
I'm not too keen on how it looks from the side and back
If you've got a decent chin and not a little baby face you should be fine. I wouldn't man bun it as often though, man buns really shine best with a beard.
I'm in the same boat, but my hair's not nearly as long and it's super curly. I'm tryna cut major bf% to be able to do it as well.
What should I do with my hair guys? btw I'm bad at selfies that's why I look so disgruntled
Thanks, this is how long it is now.
I'm an idiot when it comes to styling though, right now I have crew fiber that I hardly use. Any tips?
Use crew fiber and style it outwards, then hairspray, then five minutes later style it the way you want and hairspray it again.
You should use the crew fiber as you would use shampoo, in order to get good control on your hair. Also strong hairspray.
Something like >>9411794 or my picture would be nice. As long as I'd like my hair to get I've got to find a job, so I need to look somewhat presentable...At least until this voice acting gig takes off.
Holy shit that's a lot of product, though I use nothing now, and just use heads and shoulders in the shower.
I've never thought of that, I usually like the way my hair looks coming out of the shower but that's because it forms cooler shapes then/stays put, rather than cause it looks wet.
I'll try nopoo but I'm afraid of dandruff becoming an issue.
Haha, thanks man, one of the benefits of being ethnically ambiguous I guess, although yesterday some dude on snap chat started harassing me with racist stuff about arabs (I'm not arabic)
not really a /fa/ guy but I want to get something like this, is there a name for this type of style and is it /fa/?
>grow out my hair
>look like shit
>reminded I'm not a model
ayy that's my nigga marcel, he's weeb as fuck tho.
So I have wavy hair, my problem when I try to grow my hair out is that it just gets super thick and starts to look bad. Especially as, because my grows in locks, different parts grow at different rates. Not a unique problem my any means - but every time I ask the hair dresser to just thin it out and tidy it up a little, they cut it right down to the top again. This has happened like 5 times at different places.
Is this just a case of shitty hairdresser, my shitty instructions, or is there no real way to reduce thickness while also keeping length.
its because u bullshittin mane.
aint no 'cuttin' when ur growin dat shit out mane.. u gotta commit and hold it down
put ur head down and grow dat shit for like a year and youll have a nice mane... but dont get dat shit cut mane
Folded ponytail gets weird with longer hair. I've taken to a more standard bun of pulling it back like a ponytail, but then twisting the hair into a kind of rope, and wrapping it around itself in a donut shape.
Just google "how to tie a bun" and you'll see what I mean.
alright I didn't know if it was ok since all the hair is the same length. I'll shave it tonight. I have to work on it, the left and right always look uneven and I never know how far to shave it on the bottom of my chin. I'll try and just follow the jawbone
Thanks I really miss growing a beard
What do you think I should do with my hair? The sides are shorter than the top. Was thinking about growing it much longer to see if it looks good
thinking of doing this with my hair, not sure if i would dye it get the blonde/white look but the style is sick. RIP
How to keep myself from cutting my hair?
I cant resist the urge to go to barber when my hair gets too long and hard to maintain
I started from long on top medium on the sides and haven't had it cut in like a year and don't plan on getting it cut. even when it was in the "awkward" phase I never cared, I slicked it back with product or just combed it back.
At a certain point yeah you should. If your goal is purely the bun then don't get it trimmed until way later, otherwise you'll get set back. If it's the long hair down that you're after then once it's touching your shoulders get it trimmed correctly.
thinking of growing my hair out.
Do you think it would look any good with my hair type?
Goal hair. Gonna patrick bateman it until it's long enough.
My hairdresser is really good, I trust her to do it right. It looks like he had the sides shorter and thinned it progressively and grew the top long.
kek i've been going for something similar for a while now and i've just been whacking at my sideburns with a trimmer to keep them solid at the middle of my ear, kind of hard to fuck it up
Not him, but the philips norelco has two heads, one trimmer, one shaver. I trim my sides with the trimmer and shave my junk with the shaver. Best 40 bucks I've spent. Saves so much ball shaving time and no razor bumps.
i might have been wrong in using the word trimmer for this thing as it is more of a styler, i'm going to have to blame my shit-tier english for that
it's basically the body of a gillette razor someone bought me a while back, I'm fairly certain it's actually meant for beards but the guards are kind of shit-tier so I've only really used it without them for sharp cuts as in the case with my side burns and to some extent a couple of the shitty hairs beneath my neck hairline when my hair was still short enough to warrant it
for an actual trimmer i'm afraid that i have no useful advice since i've never gone with a haircut that has warranted one
/fa/ should I wear my hair up or down? excuse the terrible expression on the right
>excuse the terrible expression on the right
more like the one of the left m8, hard to tell how your hair actually looks on you if you just wrinkle up your entire forehead
both seem perfectly fine to me though, I'd probably go with the bun since your hairline and small widows peak are pretty tight and because of how well that style goes with facial hair, whereas hair down + facial hair basically makes you look like mexican jesus
I cut my hair shorter a few weeks ago, how is it? Used to have a ponytail a few years ago (oh boy, the memories).
shit, I'll try to It's hard for me to gain weight though.
