UNIQLO general.
>>
>>9142918
I pretty much just buy all my basics there. The Ts are comfy with that supima cotton stuff, i do wonder if that is a real quality thing or just marketing fluff.

Thinking about the airism Ts but unsure if theyd be too thin and hardly last. Cop?
>>
>>9142918
why do you need a uniqlo general? theclothes are all boring, basic shit. nothing is good or interesting. what could you possibly need to know?

Anyone familiar with this coat? I would like to know if it's warm at all. Exactly the look I want but not sure if it's even worth being called a coat. Looks thin.

>airism is probably for sport only.

Nope, they're great casual t-shirts
>>
OCBDs are super nice for the price, love the thick material but they wrinkle like a motherfucker.

supima ts are best t deal I've seen.

jeans are super comfy because they stretch. they look like slim jeans but feel like sweatpants.

ULD is complete shit and should be avoided at all times.
>>
Are they ever going to restock the fucking mountain parka?
>>
i got the opportunity to go to a uniqlo store today, any recommendation on what i definitly should buy?
>>
are their MoMA shirts worth it?
I have my eye on the Jenny Holzer designs
>>

>>

grass is always greener i guess
uniqlo sucks dude
cant believe people proxy this shit
>>
>>9145230
Is this a Uniqlo white OCBD underneath? Can you post a close-up of its buttons, I'm wondering whether they're actually yellowish IRL as they look on the photos?
>>
>>9145356
ive been to uniqlo before in singapore and stuff, i dont see why it sucks. they are just super vanilla clothes you can wear pretty much every where

actually being a skinny 5'11 most of the stuff there fits me faaaaaaaar better compared to everything in canada

if you have any other recs for stuff similar to uniqlo throw em out

Copped the +J duffle coat in navy yesterday. Anyone have any experience with these? I needed a heavy winter coat pretty much and this looked good but I kinda bought it blindly
>>
>>9145431
Copped the normal duffle in navy yesterday too, only one way to find out I guess.

Also, if you want to find out how much of something they have in stock, select the colour and price of something and drag the amount down to 10, it usually makes it say 'there is not enough stock, only _ available'.
With the duffle I knocked it down to 10, so I guess online they just have 10 of everything.
>>
>>9145446

That 2nd part wasn't in response to you, just a tip.

>>
>>9145431

I snagged the +J Wool Chester Coat. It was a toss up between that and the duffle. It was out of stock but one in my size appeared and I had to jump on it.

I'd like to know how the duffle fits and looks when you get it though. This was my first time getting a heavy coat as I'm not suffering through PNW winter like I did last year.

>>

How exactly would that make him a fatty?
Uniqlo always goes out of XL last because not that many people are as fat as you.
>>
>>9146833
uniqlo goes out of XL last because they make more XL than anything because most people are XL
>>
Supima tees are overrated. I bought one. It's really thin and the ribbing on the neck was very tight and the ribbing itself was rough on the skin. The stitching looks weird, especially with the shoulders. I don't know how to describe it, but it just looks off. The supima looks glossy and synthetic. It is really smooth, but it is not exceptionally comfortable like everyone is saying.

I wouldn't cop anything more than underwear from Uniqlo. They skimp out on many things to keep the costs low.
>>
>>9146858
>They skimp out on many things to keep the costs low.
All fast fashion does this. Uniqlo is one of the better ones in that respect.
>>
>>9146858
Supima isn't as good as the soft touch stuff.
When I wear my soft touch clothing it feels nice as fuck, supima is just insanely average and doesn't have any interesting properties.

anyone have experience with these jeans?
>>
>>9147137

yes. got it last year, i like it

It is pretty warm but nothing ridiculous, if youre going to be wearing it in freezing temperatures youre still gonna need a few layers
Its water/windproof which makes it a life saver when its cold and shitty out.

also size down, they run very big, I'm a large in shirts from the 'Qlo but the parka im a medium and still able to fit like, an overshirt and a denim jacket under it
>>
>>9142918

Canadian here, going to get family to pick me up some tees and sweaters when they go to the states. If I'm 5'11", 150 lbs, 36-38" chest, would a medium be a good size for these items?
>>
>>9142954
hl2 cut content
>>
>>9142962
no they arent lol

theyre like underarmour
>>
>>9150162
Its the same as uniqlo jeans. So markup isn't justified.

If it goes on sale tho then cop it over the normal uniqlo jeans.
>>
>>9150162
Normal uniqlo selvedge is pretty good. But at the price point of those, I'd buy unbranded or something like that.
>>
>>9151924

Are you implying they fit tightly? Because they don't
>>
>>9142918

$1 socks with free shipping with no minimum wherever you live (I live in motherfucking Hawaii!)

$1 for all 70 color standard uniqlo socks

http://www.uniqlo.com/us/men/innerwear-and-loungewear/color-socks.html

$1 or more for the non-standard uniqlo socks such as finger socks

http://www.uniqlo.com/us/men/featured/sale.html

Also hurry up and order /fa/ggots because especially the ones on the second link are going out of stock insanely fast. I already ordered 9 pairs
>>
>>9152514

I really wish Uniqlo made serviceable socks, but unfortunately they are shit.
>>
>>9152524
I have a few pair already and frankly for a $1 with free shipping that's cheaper than the cheapest socks you'll find at your local ballsmart so it's not a big deal if the quality isn't up to par with imaginary $90 rick owen's socks. They wear about as fast as any standard socks from brands like Hanes
>>
One of the reviews said their men's socks are huge, what size feet do you guys have?
>>
>>9152534

Yeah the price is pretty amazing but I live in new york city so I'm walking everywhere, I can't fuck around with cheap ass socks, they lead to foot irritation and they don't wick sweat as well as wool.

I love their other underwear, I don't know why uniqlo think their customers are ok forking out $19 for a long sleeved undershirt but wouldn't be willing to spring for halfway decent sock material.

I usually load up on $10 smartwool socks from sierra trading post every couple of years.
>>
>>9147137
picked this one upabout 3 weeks ago but it was almost sold out (34th st location in Manhattan). They were going fast. Warm as fuck.
>>
>>9152578

What's the sizing like? I always have problems with jackets being tight across the shoulders but still kind of loose around the waist.
>>
>>9152545
they are huge in the sense that they are long. but that's awesome though. after 1-2 washes in hot water they shrink to a PERFECT length

and the elastic never goes out

i fucks with uniqlo socks
>>
Holy fuck guys all their socks are sold out in the colors I want and it isn't EVEN TECHNICALLY cyber Monday? Like do they suddenly restock in time or is this just the shittiest thing ever? Cus this happened last year.

>>9142918
I went for the first time not long back and was disappointed by the sizing. I guess they are cutting things to Amerca standards now because everything in the women's section fit about the same as most places. It wasn't horribly vanity sized but XS still fit loose and baggy on me, I could easily find American brands that ran smaller.
>>
I'm buying all my basics there at the moment. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to do so as well. I think they'd suit him.

Until you see UNIQLO at a strip mall in Florida, it's hardly pleb tier. There's no better choice for basics.
