what kinds of clothes work well with wide / muscular hips? specifically the circled area.

I feel like there has to be some kind of distinct break to emphasize the (excuse the immense fagginess) masculine chest to waist taper. tucked in shirts look stupid because the break is too horizontal. it has to follow the adonis belt. typical streetwear stuff looks bad from the side if you don't have a flat ass, and looks bad from the front because it fucks up the V if your hips are wide.

in other words, I find the thickness of my pants makes the t shirt (or any other top) get wider at the bottom, which sucks. what 2 wear other than parka / garbage bag?

The pattern is called a fisherman's knit if I'm not mistaken. You don't need to wear a button up underneath. Right now, I'm wearing a grey cable knit (with a long sleeved tee underneath because I find lambswool itchy), black jeans, and white sneakers. I'm sure if you look through the old WAYWT posts you'll find some nice examples of sweaters.

Merino should be the least itchiest by the way. I like 1 and 3, not so much 2 and 4 (smaller ribs look more "dadcore" at least in my opinion).
