/fa/ music thread?
Is punk music /fa/? Specifically folk punk
>Tonight I bake my madness a birthday cake
>Because even the insomniacs aren't awake
>Tonight I burn my home while Beethoven plays, so tomorrow I can live like I died yesterday
Sorry, forgot link.
The die hards are all crusty and gross
Punk music itself is not /fa/ and especially not "folk punk." Only kids on the internet think that's cool
The punk attitude, however, is /fa/. You clearly don't have it, though, or you wouldn't be posting on an image board for Vietnamese children's cartoons.
Johnny Hobo is one of the bands I listened to when I was in my edgy depressed phase. I listened to that album the other day and kind of cringed at a lot of the lyrics.
Savages...I think they're pretty /fa/. That bass line. To be fair they're post punk but whatevs
Nausea is pretty fuckin hardcore.
You're forgetting something though.
>no I don't agree with you
>no ew yeah of course not
You can use no in disagreement or no emphatically as agreement.
Being obstinate isn't /fa/
whatcha listen to, bud?
after getting friendzoned, do you choke back a few tears to frank sinatra?
do you practice fedora tipping to dean martin?
i bet you remark, to yourself of course, how intellectually superior you are while michael buble plays in the background of your mothers basement.
listen champ, being elitist about music is the most tryhard faggotry ive ever heard of.
folk punk is probably the most cringeworthy genre
id seriously put it in the same tier as crunkcore or viking metal
if you seriously listen to johnny hobo or andrew jackson jihad or any of that shit you should prob kill yourself
I don't think he ever said it was real punk, not going to disagree with you though it's what edgy middle class white kids listen to when dad won't give them money. But folk punk definitely isn't even close to hard-core punk, even though it's mostly a pretty cringey genre there are still some redeemable artists.
Not my fav, but better than "Closer" and "Preface" in my opinion. I think a couple other songs like "Kicks" and "Lights On" should have more hype than "Video Girl" but it honestly all depends on your tastes so it's whatever.
Never heard of Quorthon bro ?
