I have a money tree and I love it.
My apartment doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight, so I needed something that was pretty low maintenance. It has a really cool braided trunk and I always get compliments on it.
Are you looking for smaller plants or tree size? How much sunlight do you get?
How much do you know about plants in general?

Sweet man, well personally I'd start with something that doesn't require a pile of work on your behalf. Succulents like cacti and whatnot are pretty sweet, and can be effay as fuck if you put them in the proper places.
If you're just looking for something you can grab at your local home depot, aloe is pretty cool as well and looks pretty sweet in a room.
Ikea has some ok plants that are cool to start with. If you're strapped for room, stick to smaller stuff since larger plants/trees draw the eye to them and it'll make your room seem a lot smaller.
Pic related is pretty sweet too though. I'll dump some interior/plant inspo if anyone's interested

These are sick
I have this on my Expedit, I was helping clean out my uncle's rental unit and the last tenant was a crackhead and left a ton of shit
this being something, among other things I took.
bottom of the vase thing is stamped Ikea I think, flowers are fake
I like it though

I'd have gone with a distressed all-wood table in that room but it's dope otherwise
