Post where you're going and see if you can meet other /fa/gs
Pic related, incoming freshman
p-pls be kind
think it'll be a long shot, my city has a small pop
mfw i could have gone there but instead chose this
anyone from westminster?
Nah I've been having a great time there, the weather gets a bit shitey in autumn/winter but that's about it. With all the students there it's like you're in the south apart from all the hills.
honestly depends where ur working. if it's a small to mid sized firm then you will do the standard 9-6. if ur working big 4 then it'll be shitty for a few yrs.
but then realise this, in those few yrs ur base salary will increase magnitudes more than any science job.
have fun earning what a teacher does lmao. i'd work my ass off for a few yrs and be set for life than working 10 yrs and getting no where.
commerce, major in accounting and minor in corporate finance.
if ur doing med or law [depends] then choose flinders. anything else choose adelaide. law is good for both.
stay away from unisa
I'm surprised no one from McGill posted.
Sadboi menswear fag reporting from D.C. If you go to American or George Washington, i still <3 you
Enjoy the tryhard premeds fucking up the curve in your orgo class. Economics/polisci here.
UF. Starting to get more /fa/, but since I'm rushing this Fall I'm gonna have to hold back for a bit.
>He's not at a top 25 college
>He's not in a STEM or at least business Major
tfw I won't even apply to U of M cause every single fucker from my highschool goes there and thinks they are something special. I'm getting the fuck out of this shitty state as soon as I can, those faggots can live out there shitty lives here
Transferred here from George Mason and I'm living downtown. Any other /fa/ggots want to make fun of the Jersey Short shits on campus together?
Starting senior year, Western PA is about the least /fa/ place I can think of. But I've seen some folks around who definitely wind up here
Gunna be a sophmore, just posting cause of boston.
Make sure you go out into the city once in a while and just take the T somewhere man, just bring a friend, a bottle, and take a look around, thats my advice, its relaxing too.
It's very clear that no one at my school goes on /fa/ but fuck it
>first day of university
>see people wearing sweat pants
Hopefully I can make it into NYU as a transfer student after getting waitlisted for (and subsequently forgotten by) NYU Poly this year.
I grew up in Waltham and took classes there in High School, Brandeis is literally tumblr compressed into a university. Fugly SJWs, sweaty Jewish neck beards, and the occasional qt exchange student.
Good luck my nigga.
Incoming RISD freshmen
Anyone else here from RISD?
I was once there with you, but then I realized in-state was cheap (relatively), Minneapolis is tight af, and there's 40,000 people there so if you don't want to see shitty people, you don't have to. Minnesota isn't that bad bro.
Stop being a faggot.
Thanks m8. UCs orientation looks pretty lame this year but I'm looking forward to it anyway.
OP you faggot are you still here ITT?
Senior at UMB here. I'll give you the rundown on everythang.
Firstly, what major are you? inb4 some gay shit like Philosophy
Okay, the school has a TON of AZN kids. Like, I'm talking straight imports from China/Korea/Japan. I love it. Their /fa/ is so fucking nice and different from US /fa/.
Then there are just default people. Regulars. Girls w/ blonde hair & Ugg Boots/Hunter Booots & Yoga pants.
Then there are hipsters. QT hipsters by the lot, really. I dated this one girl who self-identified as a hipster (yeah I know
>self-identifying as a hipster)
but she was really cute. We met on the train. Speaking of which, TALK TO PEOPLE.
T A L K. The school is known as a commuter school and I can't tell you how many kids walk around by themselves all day long. Like if you wanna socialize, try doing it in class.
Anything else you wanna know?
>dyeldave goes to your school
fuckin a. busch and ca are my turf, niqqa. can't wait to ayy lmao in my head when i see you on campus. what's your major so i know what buildings i might see you in?
inverse fashion capital
>engineers dress like typical shit
>ag majors wear ugly flannels and wranglers
>vans, vans everywhere
>occasional frat/sorority attire
god damn the people are attractive but the clothes are fucking disgusting
Academy of fine arts, doubt anyone else on here goes there.
yeah it's awesome. small class sizes and a hands-on approach is something I can really appreciate.
Only complaint is it's a little conservative and backwards for a college. It's something you'd have to experience to understand.
you planning on going there?
OP faggot checking in. I'm a comp sci major. And the only other question is how extracurriculars work. Are there any good ones or should I skip them since everyone is commuting? Thanks for the info though :)
our newspaper ran an analysis on all of the majors and found that comp sci has the highest incidence of declared autism i fucking kid you not lmao
good major though, i know our school is well known for the program. btw ive never met a CS major that dressed well
break the cycle
i tend to mentally refer to them all as kids, not in a derogatory way, but just because.... well, i dont think of myself as an adult so why the hell would i think of any of my shitfaced friends as one?
i graduated from that hellhole 6 months ago
real good deal for the money but no campus experience whatsoever and full of niggers
some good professors tho and i paid off my loans before i graduated working full time so that a good perk i guess
just dont expect to find a job afterwards without internships/shit ton of networking with other Boston alumns
>This nigga thinking you have to make six figures to afford sick cops
Honestly as long as you don't spend money on stupid shit and don't have kids it's not even hard to have a good budget for clothign
I need to know who posted about whether or not Stanford was "effay" the other day. B/c I'm the "kid with cps" you mentioned.
Dude it isn't that bad. I only transferred because they didn't offer any undergrad programs I wanted and because I hate Fairfax.
Take microeconomics with Professor Rustici and join and join the Mindful Living LLC. You'll be glad you did.
