Hey, first time here. Need haircut ideas.
I am female, have shoulder length hair, thick (however controlled) and healthy. My face shape is oval and yes, it suits anything (I only refuse pixie cuts).
Pic related, not taking the color in consideration nor the bangs because tropical country.
I wish I cut cut above my shoulders but my hairdresser says it will become too full. Are there any ideas on short haircuts which won't make my hair look like a mess?
One more question. Is there any way I can ''force'' the final part of my hair not to turn outside? Doesn't happen every time, only when I don't wash it for more than two days, for some reason. I hate when it does that.

if you're afraid of it getting too full get it thinned
>>8526419
This is the thing. I enjoy my semi-thick hair, I don't want it to become thin.

I'm in an exact same situation, considering pic related, but I'm really tall and afraid of looking like a match. Any advices?

Didn't want to post my face here. Thought people on this board had an idea concerning hair types and haircuts in general.

I am sorry I can't help you, anon.

We do, you stupid cunt.
That's why you have to post your face.
>>8526547
You probably come from reddit, so your best chance is just to go back.

just blur out the facial features and mark the position of your eyes and lips

>>8526350
BUT OP, OVAL FACES WITH PIXIE CUTS ARE THE CUTEST.
>>8526640
cuts* sorry
>>8526640
Hm. Any advice on cool but practical bangs, then? One that doesn't turn me into those crazy girls that must look in the mirror to fix their hair every 5 minutes.
>>8526615
That's a meme, you moron.
You don't think people are genuine when they say that, do you?
>>8526649
That guy's an idiot but he's right. /fa/'s thirsty as fuck.
>>8526646
I have bangs, and I don't need to fix them constantly. Use a round brush and blow dryer to shape them after washing, and you'll be fine.
>>8526661
I know what you mean. My concern is that if some wind blows on them I will look like I came from the 80's or some shit.
>>8526671
wind is definitely inconvenient, but they're easy to fix by just combing your fingers through them
>>8526678
Maybe with those?

If you have thick hair it may be hard to control anything except for a pixie. I know that when mine gets longer it turns into a mess, pixie's best for me personally. Mine did the thing where it flipped out at the ends before I got it cut too, the only way to manage it was to vigorously flat iron and blowdry it. If you're really opposed to something like a pixie, you can go for something above the shoulders, but it may turn into a triangle depending on how thick your hair is and how much you have it thinned. Don't be afraid of getting you hair thinned, it's a lot lighter when you do and it'll always grow back if you don't like it. Full bangs across your face are okay to have and can be low maintenance, but they like to part in odd places and you have to blowdry/flat iron them for them to look decent. What matters is what you want though, and you never know what your hair will do until you try, just go for a haircut you really like and let a good hairstylist work with it to give you a haircut suited to you.

First time on /fa/? You should probably lurk before you post.
The way this works is that you post a picture of you with the face blurred out and people will tell you to lose weight and then recommend that you get x haircut. Just because someone posts a picture and you go "oh i leik that 1" it doesn't mean it's going to look good on you. That's why we expect a picture....
Use the catalog, find the hair suggestion threads, and then follow the SOP when you post.

This is the gayest board alongside /fit/, you would have better luck asking female fashion advice on /lgbt/
