How do your parents/friends react
Getting lots of compliments from friends. My parents doesn't know i spend 250+ pounds on shoes and other clothes. But they tell me that i should use shampoo again.

I realise that i was a huge mallcore pleb before i began thinking about my outfits, and i have become more confident when wearing my fits.

I really like this, but in terms of colour palette I'd say to roughly balance the light/dark contrast (unless a an overall pale, desaturated look is what you want)

I.E. that jumper in navy, dark grey or black would make that fit look better, or swap out the light jeans for a deeper indigo or black

I'm not an edgy nazi or whatever if that's what you mean by "angsty teenager". And really I think a lot of people on /fa/ dress like skinheads atleast from what I've seen so far. There's a lot of bomberjackets, boots, harringtons, shaved heads and so on here.

Recently I've been moving towards more of a mod look though, and I'm even thinking about growing my hair for the first time in years.

My parents think it looks silly sometimes but in general they don't mind. I get a lot of compliments from friends. Some people tell me it looks dumb but they're usually people whos opinions I don't care about so that's okay.

There are people who smile at me too, and I regurarily get compliments on my clothing. But of course there are people who will be upset if they see you and think about American History X, but that's not always avoidable if you have a shaved head and wear typical skinhead clothing like a bomberjacket and boots.
But yeah I'm moving away from that style anyways, which is why I've been going on /fa/ for a while now.

Only get a buzzcut if you're confident about your looks. imo your probably better off finding a haircut that will compliment your face.

I try to wear what looks better for my appearance. Like, my face is kind of mannish so instead of wearing more feminine clothes and looking like an ugly girl trying to be cute I wear stuff like sweaters with black pants instead. Sometimes I have to dress up but I don't think I look good with a lot of makeup on.

Relatives say that my complexion looks good, which makes me happy because I used to have really bad acne.

I get more looks/approached by people when I wear contact lenses and constantly get mistaken for being an employee at some places I go to.

When I buy clothes I'm more focused on getting specific items instead of impulse shopping, but at the same time it makes it take longer to buy things. So I don't have much I'd consider /fa/ to wear.
