iPhones are certainly the most effay. I'm not saying they're the best hardware or performance wise (go talk to /g/ if you give a shit about that), but of you want something that's super easy to use and is effay, it's an iPhone with either no case or a very slim one with no crazy patterns

Only reason I gotta say android over iphone is because of the UI. iOS has either been dull or ugly.

Had the iPhone 5s, hated it. Switched to the galaxy S5, takes better pictures and overall more fun. It's water resistant and has a better battery life.

Anyways, OP. It just depends on what you want in a phone. I'd go with the HTC One M8 because HTC has the best build quality of any android manufacturer hands down. It has limited customization by itself, and you have to use itunes. (itunes is not /fa/)
End of the day, I think you'd be happier with HTC or just android in general.
If you want something else, consider the Moto X or even the Nexus 5. Both are bretty good.
