I love it honestly; my future fashion purchases are drapery, indigo and eggshell tones; silver and basically various ochres.

That's fine to wear in 120, besides the black sandals and the vest obviously. Light colored fabrics to reflect sunlight, and breathable fabrics to make sure your sweat evaporates. Wearing long-sleeves and pants is actually advised to protect your body from the sun.

Honestly, one of the few things you try to do in an extreme environment is "dress fashionably."

Last time some kid did it in my area he had a heat stroke, and wasn't found for a couple years. Same thing happened plenty of times in Russia when people would go out flaunting their new designer jackets in -40C weather and would freeze to death.

Then again, by all means go and dress in Uniqulo and wear your meme shoes, I'd be happy to find another dead body rotting away.

The best clothing to wear in hot, dry climate would be loose, made of light, breathable, bright coloured fabric. This is what most desert tribes actually wear.

The sun will heat the top layer only. And when I say heat, I mean that the top layer will be much hotter than air temperature. If it is bright coloured, this means most of the sunlight will be reflected, meaning lower temperature. Of course, skin that is exposed to the sun would heat up as well, that's why it's important to cover yourself in hot sunny weather, counterintuitive as it might sound.

Breathable fabric will mean that air still circulates. Since deserts are dry, sweat should evaporate easily. Loose clothing also means that the heated outer layer of clothing is not in direct contact with the skin, so you don't feel as hot as in tight clothes.

I hope you now also understand why women wearing revealing tight clothing in summer is as retarded as it can get.

I wouldn't say "bright" clothing most tribes utilize indigo and will actually dry pound indigo to creat an almost plum black tone to cloth.

But I do agree about layers, Khoisan in Botswana even the most traditional ones will wear extremely large used shirts to help cool themselves even though its bad for tourism business advertising "authentic tribals"
