I barely use shampoo (daily though but only on the roots) and condition like crazy, put leave in conditioner and de-frizz in in the mornings, but I still feel it looks dry. I need a bit of a haircut, which helps, but it's still not where I want it.

I let my hair grow for a little over a year and it is similar to this pic, except I am white and my hair is dirt blond. Is there a faq for hair care? This is the exact same thing I went through. My advice, even though you will lose some progress is to just keep cutting the back until the front grows to about the same length, reduces the chances of you looking like you have a mullet. Aside from that, you just have to wait it out. Good luck!! It will grow out faster than you think.

Gonna do a serious hair condition soon. Gonna use Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, MCT Oil, Peppermint, Lavender. Maybe add Pumpkin Seed Oil (Already take 4000mg ed as a supplement), Almond Oil, and maybe some rosemary extract.

Gonna mix the lot and massage into hair and scalp, and beard, and leave on overnight with a swimming cap or shower cap on to keep it on my head.

Hey thats literally my hair. I use a medium gel after I shower to tighten/define the curls let that dry tie it in a ponytail/bun and then when I let my hair loose again it looks like this. The gel stiffness breaks and the hair looks softer and is has a bit more volume and looks natural and cool as fuck.

I've been using this organic natural shampoo and conditioner once every 4 days or so on my hair the last few months. My hair looks healthy, the problem is though is I like it to have some form of malleability and moisturised look so I can shape it a little more easily.

I use about a pea size of raw coconut oil and massage it evenly throughout my hair after i've washed it to give it some life as my hair is naturally dry but I can't seem to find a balance between making it look healthy and making it look greasy.

I was thinking about just no longer shampooing at all and just conditioning my hair, as the conditioner is just made up of extracts and oils, but i'm not sure if that would end up with me looking like a greased up hobo as I need to look somewhat presentable.

Has anyone tried just conditioning without shampooing at all (including no shampoo alternatives like baking soda etc.)
