I got a nice hoodie for $12 but the logo is a meme right on the breast. Would it be appropriate to slap a patch over it?

You're really in for it now AM.
Sew velcro to a jacket for velcro patches vs sew patches directly to jacket.
Do you think it would be possible to turn pic related into a patch/badge thing?
I want to wear an Ushanka but they usually have the communist symbol on it
>bro why don't you just remove the communist symbol
because i want something on there or else it'll look gay
also where i live it's very grey and cold shitty weather so i would at least have a reason to wear it
so, would it be possible to turn pic related into a patch/badge thing (without the red of course)

Yes, of course.

It's symbol overload. If you want an actual advice
>drop the fasces and the falange
>sharpen the star so it's flat across the planes, not chunky like a preschool homework
>Clean up that pickaxe/battleaxe art, way too wiggly
>Seriously reconsider the olive branches, especially the generic olive branches from wikipedia
What is this for anyway?
>>12253465
Because I want to wear a ushanka but I don't want a commie symbol on it so i just want something original on it

Cheapest place I can get/order a Gadsden flag patch? Wanna sew one to the sleeve of a sweater.

yeah I've bough from them before, i took the patch off for a new one but it might be lying around somewhere. their designs are decent, just nothing that interesting - best paired with something, like embroidered lettering or something.

I was going to ask if you were taking inspiration from American Psycho. I'm interested. What does the bottom say? Fallen "____"?
>>12258420
"A fallen angel is a bond that was given an investment-grade rating but has since been reduced to junk bond status due to the weakening financial condition of the issuer. There is a fine line between fallen angel bonds and value stocks, which have the potential to recover from short-term challenges, and those that are headed straight toward bankruptcy."
Basically a type of junk bonds, which started the junk bond boom during late 70s and 80s. Mike Milken, the 80s "Junk Bond King" also started his highly profitable high yield business with these.

Nazis are used commonly because they have so much imagery and symbols associated with them it's a gold mine. Not to mention a lot of those symbols are great designs. Example from /k/ thread. Roman Empire is obvious, what would the other two have?

Hey AM and other patchmakers, do you use any tracking when you ship your patches? If not, aren't you worried about people being dicks and disputing the order as "didn't arrive" while it really has arrived?
>>12257543
>I'm back from b& l&
What were you in for?
>>12258810
not a patchmaker, just a buyer but
it's basically not worth the extra money to track what is 9 times out of 10 just a padded envelope (as in, I would probably not buy a patch if I was going to be raped on shipping because it was tracked (at least it would be for me buying patches from the US being shipped to the UK))
Probably just gotta hope no one is pathetic enough to jew a ~$7 patch
>>12258810
I don't yet because things are already complicated as it is and printing out individual slips for every order just isn't feasible right now. Sure, some people may take advantage of that but the stakes aren't super high right now

Almost everyone on this site agrees. The problem is that the ones who spread /pol/faggotry are much more likely to be NEETs, which means they have far more free time than most people, which means that with no real obligations, they're free to continue to spam their idiocy for as long as it brings them some sort of sick, pathetic satisfaction.
Just like how models and actors can get in shape better and faster than "normal" people with 9-5 jobs because it's their only obligation.

Jeez from the thumbnail i thought this was some NSBM-vest and i was like "dope" but then it turned out to be this and kys.
I just remembered I have 2 of these printed canvas paintings (pic related) - the first was slightly damaged at the corner or something so I got a new one for free and it's been laying in my basement for months.
Could I just cut out a part of it, I guess the part with the face, and sew it onto a jacket as a back patch? I'm thinking about a black denim jacket. I know Innerdecay sells backpatches of this painting but I don't feel like paying the price when I can get it for free. I'm just not sure if it's gonna work.

90% are chicken shits who want a fascist government but don't know it...They say stuff like "you can't just say whatever you want" when attempting to silence anti-clinton rhetoric....But scream first amendment when they hear that CNN is biased
Don't know they want a fascist government when they mention gun control = no civilian guns
And want government run everything from healthcare to abortions
They even call them selves antifa
Yet they want to overthrow the government and put Hilary Clinton in charge

Like I said in my reply to his post, he just needs to offset his shit. It legitimately does not look good, and it's not because of the content of the jacket. That type of symmetry rarely looks good on clothes and it comes across as an anarchist(?) version of pic related

When I was in 6th grade I bought a black Walmart hoodie and put a big ass Misfits skull on the front of it.I liked that hoodie a lot. I use to like a lot of mediocre things.
For the most part it held up. I still have it actually, but it doesn't fit me anymore. The patch is coming off a bit. I'm guessing that happened from the last time I washed it. I guess I decided to cut the sleeves off at some point because I thought it was cool or something.
I did it in 6th grade, so maybe that could give you an idea of what to think about it? I wouldn't sew any patch onto a hoodie now, or anything for that matter. Keep in mind this Misfits patch was like 7 inches tall and covered the majority of the front of the hoodie.
Something small on the lapel wouldn't look half bad in my opinion. Don't overdue it, I guess.
Hope I helped.

I threw this crying Kim patch on the back of a blush h&m hoodie I had.
I put it on iron-on interfacing and sewed it on after that. It's held up really well for the 4 months I've had it.

Okay, I finally ordered 100 pieces of these from the manufacturer. I already have a bigcartel ready so I can begin shipping them in 2-3 weeks.

>>12274651
has anyone ever commented on it?
>>12275331
nice
put it on a shoulder
how long does against meaning take to ship? I ordered from them almost a week and a half ago and they still havent even sent it
>>12275331
don't add a damn thing. it already looks nice.

I'm here! All orders from over a week ago were shipped (big cartel doesn't send shipment emails even though it should) but I've been getting a bunch back because the labels I've been using had the send and return addresses to close to each other and the machine kept reading my address at the one to ship to
I'm sorry about the delay, everything's being sent out again

I'm this noob and I was wanting to do a Nick Cave patch too so I was wondering if this design would be too complicated for hand embroidery. Does anyone have more experience and could offer any advice? I'm worried about the large black spaces in the shoulders and hair. Will a satin stitch work for this? Or is there a better way to fill it in?
I might be biting off more than I can chew with this one.

Yeah, I was thinking one of the Against Meaning patches on either the chest or arm. As long as I keep it kinda low key I still think it'll look pretty cool. Thanks man.
>>12276462
Glad you like it, my boy! I hope my shitty velcro job holds up
I just got a mail that I'll receive a package from my patch supplier tomorrow. Likely it will be these bad boys.
I will also be away from home from tomorrow evening to monday so hopefully that's where they'll be available in my shop. I'll post a pic of them tomorrow though. Hope they turn out good

Is this woven? Is it as thin as InnerDecay's Formal Submission patch?
There has never been a good patch posted in a /fa/ patch thread.
