Best guess is that instead of starting in the middle, the bottom arrow points to one end of the lace, where an overhand knot sits, and the upper part has a knot right behind the top hole

you look alright but the pants are too tight and what you're wearing up top isn't the neither the right color nor the right fit for what you're trying to achieve (or for looking good in general). Try: a plain white/black/navy/brown (if you can pull it off) tee, some black/denim/[your current biker skinnies] slimfit or skinny jeans, and these shoes. Also, the way these shoes interact with the jeans just doesn't work, either properly stuff the jeans into the shoes or do something like >>10956595 pic related or something else entirely. in general I just don't recommend wearing skinnies after a certain age or outside of certain styles and fits, if you don't have any slightly baggy or oversized stuff to wear as a top, just don't bother with skinnies.
