Clarks are honestly fine, but if you have the money to burn, I'd take a look at Brother Vellies.

Red Wing makes some nice Chukkas in the same price range as Brother, but they're not quite the same as a desert boot.

Honestly they're not offensive or anything but I just feel tired of seeing CDBs and cuffed jeans on a quarter of the people at my uni. You'll just blend in to a mob of people like girls and the bean boots/uggs, yoga pants and north face jackets. Legally you have to dress yourself so you might as well make it an extension of yourself and try to find something more unique

I'd basically get some brown ones, with a brown belt, a camel chino and a jean, and switch between flanel shirts
I'm new to /fa/ desu and I dress like shit (metal band shirt tier) right now, so that would be a decent start I guess
