what does your apartment/house/room look like /fa/?
remember, having an ugly home is not /fa/ at all
I am so jelly of these living spaces , unifag still living in not my own home cant decor anything cept my closet which as some life photos and punk/rap flyers taped to it
Cramped but cozy dorm room from my Freshman year
You should seriously consider leaving your ugly ass cum dumpster girlfriend. That nose and fivehead.
Posted not long ago but eh
I spot David Bowie.
My current situation has been full of temporary solutions for 4 years now. I really need inspo and advice. Here's tabula rasa for you guys.
Your apartment has an interesting shape. I wouldn't have a clue as to where to put everything, aside from the obvious couch & tv spot in the top left. Do you have a current pic? I'm very interested.
Here's some inspo tho
>Hanging shit off the sprinkler pipe.
I work in the industry. It's kind of silly how frequently we get calls because apartment tenants broke the sprinkler heads because they were hanging shit off of them.
you share my fondness for eating things in bed but for god's sake clean it up!
I wish more people would hang their things on real wood hangers instead of cramming them into drawers.
Yes I am and thank you!
It's nothing special but does performs great. It's a Wharfedale Linton Professional Series.
Here you go. I like the artwork and the lightning but I feel like there's lots of hidden potential to be discovered with correct furniture.
Old storage building converted to apartments.
It's a restaurant so there aren't always people there, not that I'd care much if it were houses. Also, since I live in the city centre, it's not really an option to not have neighbours.
I'd like something like this. Not just sure how they would fit.
All that cheap ass ornamental stuff around the door frames and on the ceilings and shit is ugly as fuck.
Also I bet any thrifted furniture in the US has that same ugly 'heritage' look.
>fancy american home
Just got this apartment, pretty not very effay, but oh well. Should I put my bed in the room or in the living room at the big window?
>all these people having guitarrs
bet they cant even play
Is the bedroom the one with the two small windows? I just got a place similar to that except grey speckled carpet. From what Ive seen keeping it white will make it look bigger. less clutter will make it look much bigger aswell. Having a low bed also a good idea dont have box springs at all. bedside shelves instead of tables is a cool idea. Not sure where you could put your plants cause those windows are so small though. If anybody has any advice for me i want it aswell I will probably make a post when i move in to see, Its just a white room with a gray speckled carpet
Yeah, there is a 3rd tall window in bedroom.
Thinking I can get a black couch perpendicular and put it in the living area with the big window. Then mount a TV across it. Not sure where I'll put my computer/desk though.
I have a tiny bathroom 1880x1820. I want to hide all the piping so I'm planning to use larch for the floor and lower parts of opposing walls. I'll probably use white ceramic mosaic for the front bathtube panel and the wall behind it.
Does it look like a bad idea?
How should I hide vertical sewer pipe?
Can I paint upper part of the walls plain white?
Man, I never thought of using mirrors to "fake" additional windows. Seems like that could actually bring a lot of light to some otherwise dark flats.
My current flat has a huge window, but I'll remember that in the future.
Just moved in new barracks.
Plan on adding some tasteful old movie posters and some other misc. to hang on the walls.
This is my bedroom. My living room looks like shit because it's full of stuff i had to move out of my storage closet since they're gonna build an elevator in my old ass house from 1905.
Still looking for more shit to put up on the walls.
Rent costs £340 per month as i'm renting to friends. My family owns the flat so I don't have rent to pay.
Don't have a picture of my kitchen with furniture in yet, but here's the brochure picture.
>Go to rug expo
>Buy a bunch of cheap rugs
>Stitch them together and cut off the excess rug so that it fits nicely on the floor
>Go to grandmothers house and steal her throw pillows, she has enough as it is
>Buy basic coffee table
Doesn't sound too hard, anon.
>putting up pictures
>so much effort
m8 that wall took maybe 20 minutes maximum. Command strips and cheap frames from amazon. If I am going to live somewhere for a year, it's going to look how I want it to look.
Thanks Roosh, I'll keep that in mind. Watch out for that women's boxing team though.
i need to work on wire management but here
>mfw Bobby still has his Micky Mouse doll lmaooooo
Got a new interior design mag from Japan
Wasn't planning on scanning it but the pics are so good I feel morally obligated
military lifestyle mag that came out a few months ago
I'll do it tomorrow after work
can this be a comfy interior thread now?
The views from this window/the living room balcony are awesome
but sometimes i sleep in it
hey I had a bad day at work yesterday and couldn't do the scanning
just found REALLY high res ebook preview of it; didn't even know it was an ebook
please enjoy the pics until I can put my own online
this was the most inspiring pic for me, personally
but that fucking resolution is horrible, thus why I want to scan my copy
dude has a wall full of Pelican cases that he uses for storage and for decor
I am gonna save up and do something like that too...it isn't even that expensive
It's the only downside. It destroys any chance you have at subtlety; you're either going for it or not. I'm thinking of putting a futon in my bedroom and putting a swing mount on the TV for just that reason.
uploaded the first half
one pic is upside down; sorry
gonna convert everything to PDFs and format it a little better; but at least it's a start
Your room is better than mine, actually
Really nice floor, nice space (not too small or too big).
You should put that caravel (? - last picture)) in a really good spot so all the attention turns to it.
maybe some storage boxes or a hanging clothes thing to your clothes (its kinda messy).
it only needs some organization, but its really nice.
looking for some posters that I could throw up so the walls don't look so bare.
Asked a friend to take some semi pro photographs cuz i really like how it looks
Does anyone know of the exact frame of this bed? or one very similar?
Sorry fampai, I saved the pic from an inspo thread a while back.
I think the dog's a husky.
Though it could be a malamute or a greenland dog too.
These are form the Nakagin capsule tower, by the way.
