Recently watched "The Wire", it should totally be Idris Elba. I've watched all the Bond movies, loved the camp old ones, but the new ones should be gritty like the Craig series. Elba could be great in that quiet, command a room without saying much, alpha type. The only knock on him I could see is that he wouldn't be that great a delivering Bond/80's action movie one liners, but I hope they're past that anyway.

Bond needs to be white for one simple reason.
He needs to attract women of all races.
