Some questions for you guys. It's my first time growing my hair out longer than 2 inches in like five years. Right now its a bit over three inches when I measure it from my the tip of my head to the end of my bangs, but a bit longer in the back.

Needless to say, I'm in the awkward stage, right in the beginning. The way I style my hair right now is just to use shampoo + conditioner, then dry my hair with a towel and shake my head a few times. My hair tends to curl up on the sides, bangs and sideburns (by itself, mind you, I don't even brush it).

My hair was always straight when I Hitler Youth-ed it. My mom has straight hair and my dad has pretty curly hair, do you think my hair will curl as it grows?

Also, is the way I style it right now non-/fa/? It's pretty much early Bieber-tier.

Finally, how long till my hair is shoulder length if its around three inches right now?

If you guys are interested in washing your hair with none of the sulfates(poo) in shampoo you should try cleansing conditioner type things to conditioner wash your hair. It's very popular in the black community sicne black hair may be prone to becoming so dry to the point it becomes brittle.
you don't even need that expensive wen shit. Aussie is a pretty cheap brand that does the same. You can also try Treseme's brand of low sulfate shampoos.

Proactive is shit. Try Accutane or vitamin A treatment if it's really bad. You need a prescription though. I would also invest in a Clarisonic for the mean time(pic related)to use with your conditioners when you wash your face. Doing the latter worked for me pretty well, especially since I have sensitive skin. The former worked for a friend of mine and apparently a number of others.
