Hitting the second awkward stage boys, and thinking of cutting the front to make bangs. Other than that I feel like all I can do is bun it now, which is kinda lame.
Just starting no poo. I'm pretty excited
I went out Friday night and my friend did my hair all fancy
Is there a natural way to get my bangs to stay pushed back without product? They just got long enough for me to bite, how much longer do I have to wait? Hair is straight and thick af
My hair is super healthy but awkwardly cut, decided long ago to stop cutting it and power through until its long enough to tie up nicely
Pushing 6 months pretty soon, my dog was my inspo
I don't know what to do with long hair anymore, I've had it for so long now I don't know if I want to grow it super long or cut it.
I've been thinking about trying out different things and looking at everything for inspiration but I'm at a complete stand still.
I'm abit worried about having short hair since I'm so used to having it long now. Even then, I wouldn't know where to begin, pick or choose or how I'd look.
I feel "safe" with long hair if that makes any sense.
How do I make my hair less straight?
My straight hair makes some girls jealous I do not appreciate that
>pic related would be nice
So what exactly is up with the shorter hairs? This all of a sudden started cropping up. Is this simply what people refer to as frizz? Is it due to my hair starting to break? In any case, is this due to my hair being dry?
I don't feel like my hair is dry or anything, but it is the middle of the winter and my skin is pretty dry.
Do you guys think I should get the back trimmed up so the sides aren't so drastically shorter
It will probably put you out of bunnable length which is something I wouldn't want to deal with solely from a comfort perspective. I've considered it myself (I'm a bit longer than you) but I think I'm going to wait it out a little more before I try and even shit out.
Finished week one of no poo
When will it stop feeling gross, senpaitachi?
fancy af, cb
I like this style. Almost makes me want to cut my hair back down again and go through this stage with it. Lookin' nice
Your hair looks so much better now than it did in the first pic.
probably just breaking, yeah
naw, it looks fine
you will. don't cut it
hard to see because it blends in with your shirt, but very nice, anon
What to do with this? I usually wear it in a ponytail but it's boring. It's getting a bit long, I think I'll cut an inch or two but how do I style it?
>never ever ever
Is it really such a problem? I tie it back for work and I don't think it's that bad.
Also it's actually got a bit more volume, I took the picture right after brushing it. Thanks for the sea salt recommendation, I'll look into it.
Here's how it looks when tied. So I should keep it loose?
Some questions for you guys. It's my first time growing my hair out longer than 2 inches in like five years. Right now its a bit over three inches when I measure it from my the tip of my head to the end of my bangs, but a bit longer in the back.
Needless to say, I'm in the awkward stage, right in the beginning. The way I style my hair right now is just to use shampoo + conditioner, then dry my hair with a towel and shake my head a few times. My hair tends to curl up on the sides, bangs and sideburns (by itself, mind you, I don't even brush it).
My hair was always straight when I Hitler Youth-ed it. My mom has straight hair and my dad has pretty curly hair, do you think my hair will curl as it grows?
Also, is the way I style it right now non-/fa/? It's pretty much early Bieber-tier.
Finally, how long till my hair is shoulder length if its around three inches right now?
Long Hair Newfag.
>do you think my hair will curl as it grows?
Maybe, my hair was pretty straight up until I started growing it out. Now it's somewhere in between wavy and curly.
>It's pretty much early Bieber-tier.
Lol, just wait 6 months. It will likely look even worse and the urge to cut it all off will be greater. Just remember anon, it's darkest before dawn
>how long till my hair is shoulder length
1-2 years, more or less depending if it curls or not.
t. long hair pro
>fishing for compliments
you look good anon
I-I-It's too fucking hot where I live. I don't know If I can endure anymore, I think... I think I'll cut my hair.
> It will likely look even worse and the urge to cut it all off will be greater.
Can confirm, at the 6 month mark right now, would probably kill a man with my bare hands to get the last few inches i need for bunnable length
Should I cut my hair or just let it keep going? Also why can't I upload any pictures normally?
How do I tame this shit out of my face? Sweeping it to sides just makes it drift in front, off to one side does the same. Not long enough to tie back properly at the moment.
Should I style it back with some product? Suggestions?
I want to have it like this, ¿what do i do?
go easy on your hair bruh,
start off by keeping your hair dirty one more day than you normaly would, then, when you get used to do it, add another day.
go slowly or it'll be disgusting.
currently i wash my hair every 7-10 days and nobody can tell, even tho i go to school and do shit with my day
how to get pic related?
1st time growing long hair, need advice
I'm looking for a hair product to tamp down broken hairs.
I have mostly long hairs, but a layer of fuzz near my scalp.
It looks something like this.
My hair keep falling in my face. Why? What can I do to fix this?
My hair just don't stay still.
Go to a GOOD barber and tell them to fix that shit up asap, show them this picture if needed. Make sure to tell them your intention of growing out your hair.
do not listen to this guy
What facial traits do I need to pull off the Tom Petty look? I got light brown/dark blonde hair.
been growing for somewhere around 5 or 6 months now. Did no poo for a while to help my scalp be less dry and just started shampooing again last week. Going for just above shoulder length but might go past that if I get there and like it.
it's been nearly 2 years, no maintenance feck that
>tfw i had my hair buzzed around 3 months ago and it's going to take fucking forever to grow back to how I usually have it
I messed up famalams. I've decided I'm going to just let it grow for as long as possible but my hair is naturally super straight so what styles should I go for? Not the greatest pic but I usually try and sweep it back like that.
Lol plebs who grow out their beard but cut their hair or vice versa. Zeus style is in, grow out both all tangled and wild, and become hypermuscles
Any hair styling is for straight office drones
either shave your beard or get a cut. beard will look good when your hair gets longer but right now with that hairstyle, i'd say no-go.
what do you think about this lenght of hair on me? right now I'm just rocking some weird bieber/90's lesbian cut and I hate it. also any tips for getting your hair like the guy pic related? anything is really appreciated, thanks.
i used to have long damn hair when i was in japan, people there didnt appreciate it, but oh well
should i chop off the ends which have been bleached and dyed multiple times? or should i gradually keep trimming it? theyre so damaged its laughable. ive been putting it off because i want to keep as much length as possible but its bad
I have really thick hair and my hair stylist gave it layers when I had my hair shitty like this, haven't cut it in like 4 months, and that was just a trim. My last real hair cut was over 15 months ago and it was a buzzcut
>Just started no poo
I feel disgusting
Also haven't brushed my hair so ignore the messiness
Can imagine. The cultural differences there are vast. How was living in Japan, though? I always thought that living there for a bit would be interesting as fuck. Wy'd you move out there in the first place? (Assuming you weren't born there)
I want to grow my hair long again, what are some tips to not looking unkempt or like an emo/skater?
You could. It would look adorable to many, many people.
Personally, from this anon, your long hair is lovely and just my taste. I want to grab it close by the roots, at the base of your skull, and pull, but for purely aesthetic reasons, it's very pretty.
Any suggestions? Haven't cut it since April last year. Dunno if I should get a trim or get a new style altogether
its a fair bit longer now but idk, i feel like i'm too long now to cut / afraid to get it cut because i have a really bad hairline.
please diet/lower body fat. Idk if its the bagginess of your shirt/angle of the pic or w/e, but long hair looks like shit on people who aren't either skinny or muscular, and you look neither in the pic. Otherwise hair is good.
also please dont come to a place asking for help and then call them pathetic as a collective. rude desu
Not exactly long, but I wanted to know which one looks better
What exactly does using sea salt do to improve your hair?
>long hair general
jon snow mode
stop pretending to be this chick, you creep. she's like 14
>long hair general
cutting that gorgeous hair would be sacrilege
I feel for that shit, too. Shampoo like twice a week
I asked this in the hair general, but I was wondering was what you all thought about braids that look good on men. My hair isn't long enough now, but for future reference I'd like to know a little something. No pictures of myself at the moment.
Rate my hair. Naturally wavy. Center part. Never brush it or even dry it in the morning all natural babyyy
I haven't cut my hair in like 10 years. A friend tells me I look like some kind of British sailor. I keep it in a ponytail and condition it to keep it less frizzy (and fail). Honestly, I hate feeling like I have ocd with frizzyness, I have kinda wavy hair, so I sort of wanna try cutting it back and having a less neat ponytail with bangs where not all of it is in the scrunchy. I should probably talk to a stylist. I'm terrified of getting fast talked though, I hate retailers.
I know this is probably asked a lot, but are there any oils to help this process? I'm not talking rogaine type stuff that will make my hair grow fast, but oils to help it grow out healthier? Coconut oil usually sucks to put in my hair and I don't have dry hair. I have some other store bought kind, but I don't know it it's even helping.
I do no poo, but I never went through a nasty greasy stage. I haven't used shampoo in almost 3 years now. I've just kept it short and now I want to try longer hair, but the awkward stages always fuck me up and I just cut it. Hoping for something to just make this a little easier.
Sorry but you'd have to be extremely handsome like that guy to pull off a manbun, so it is really a shitty style since such a man could pull off pretty much anything
Women find manbuns repulsive on the average male
Not that guy but 95% of man buns look like shit, but that's only because they are the shitty short-sides versions on people who transitioned from previous meme hair which was HY. See pic related.
Proper buns includes hair from sides and back, and thus requires about shoulder lenght hair which is pretty respectable growing period (about 1.5-2 years). See examples like
Just because a bunch of handsome actors with manbuns come up on google doesn't mean it's a good hairstyle
Seen my share of average skinnyfats who look loathsome in a manbun + beard, literally not seen it fit anyone well IRL
shh anons, manbuns just went out of style even though they're a timeless look. pls don't make the redditors bring it back again, I need a unique look
I have this type of hair. It just grows bigger, thicker, and poofier instead of getting longer. What can I do to help it grow out?
I don't really like how it is right now but I'm hoping with length it'll come in nicely.
Been growing this mop for the last six or so months. Just about fed up with it because of how uncontrollable my hair is, shampooing about twice a week.
Started just rocking a headband to keep it out of my face for now, at least untill it's long enough to style in any meaningful way.
Had it like this all the way back in september, then pulled the trigger and cut it short.
Been letting it grow since but I'm not sure if I want to go back to long like >>10936177 or keep it slightly shorter like >>10941013 , even though I don't have the beard genetics to pull off the second one.
what does coconut oil do to your hair? My hair is veeery soft and managable to begin with but I do prefer how the hair acts with its natural oils it styles looks better, will post and ask questions later
I NEED FOR MORE LIKE THIS
SOMEONE POST MORE PICS LIKE THIS AND WITH A BUN
ITS MY GOAL
I GOT A LONG WAY TO GO ;____;
will post and ask later
been growing my hair out from super short for a while, and now it's uneven and ugly as fuck
do I cut off a bit to even it out or tough it out until everything reaches my shoulders?
That guys comment about the nose was unnecessary but he's right about the hair you'll never get it like that with your hair type stay away from long hair completely unless you want a pube fro
my bf is dead-set on having a bun. yes, the short-sides, slicked-back bun.
i don't care too much, it's his hair and he's fucking gorgeous, so he can rock whatever he wants to.
he asked me to help him style it once it's long enough. how do i even do that? the buns i usually like are the messy ones. but his hair is nowwhere long enough for that ansd also, he got short sides. what do?
pic is a girl, but best i could find
What product do you use to style your hair like RJ's?
How do I ask the barber for this cut?
If you guys are interested in washing your hair with none of the sulfates(poo) in shampoo you should try cleansing conditioner type things to conditioner wash your hair. It's very popular in the black community sicne black hair may be prone to becoming so dry to the point it becomes brittle.
you don't even need that expensive wen shit. Aussie is a pretty cheap brand that does the same. You can also try Treseme's brand of low sulfate shampoos.
Proactive is shit. Try Accutane or vitamin A treatment if it's really bad. You need a prescription though. I would also invest in a Clarisonic for the mean time(pic related)to use with your conditioners when you wash your face. Doing the latter worked for me pretty well, especially since I have sensitive skin. The former worked for a friend of mine and apparently a number of others.
thinking of growing my hair out like the right pics, left is current type but short on sides and back, what do?
They're pretty shit at the moment since I can't wash or wet them for two weeks while they settle in
Guys help, I'm trying to grow out my pubic hair long enough to braid it, however I have a date tmrw and might get laid. Should I shave it now or keep growing until I can braid it? I don't want the girl to think I'm gross for not shaving/trimming my pubes. Thanks.
Is there a way I can unfuck my shit up without cutting everything off?
tired of wearing hats every day
How can I get more volume on top of my head? On the third day after wash it all ends up lying flat, uncovering a tiny bit of my high hairline (widow's peak) which I've had since I was a child.
Also, any other advice you have will be appreciated
