No watch thread? How shameful! Post your watches here and rate others. Here's a couple I got today
The one on the left is a Bulova Accutron 2182 with 14k gold fill, 1970's. The one on the right is a 1979 Seiko C359-5000 Calculator Watch in emasculate condition. Both need a new battery :)
My daily watch, Casio GW-S5600 with Carbon fibre wristband

It's emasculate condition, alright. Try something less "80's androgynous nerd".

I'd say it's more retro classic, I'm sure it will get a lot of attention when I start wearing it.
I've seen a couple of nice looking chinese watches in these threads before, does anyone know how to look for those? Ebay shows mostly crazy shit with dragons etc, the watches I mean looked like soviet watches, but with hieroglyphs.
I like inexpensive Japanese windup/mechanical watches. Any resources you know about? Any good buying experiences?
wanna cop that Casio.
do you guys know a bit about materials though?
it says the case is made out of brass and the case back is stainless steel, so how does brass compare to steel? should I be worried about durability and just body acids corroding it easier?
