This leather belt is about 8 months old. One side has a really nice patina, but the other side looks dull and splotchy. I've treated both the same so I have no idea why this is. Any advice?

One side of the belt bends more than the other - specifically, the tail end is going to bend a lot more because it has a lot more movement freedom. Not rocket science.

Stop worrying about the patina on the belt, nice things like that come with time.
