Excess drinking makes one bloated, so I try not to drink too much. I just got over having food poisoning, which made me lose a bit of weight. Now I have the flu, which is also making me lose weight.
I'm drinking pretty much every day, my favorite choice is Green Tea with Vodka, in fact, I am drinking it right now.
The bitterness of the tea hides the alcoholic taste and the heat makes you drunk way faster than a cold drink. Also green tea kinda stops my appetite so that's a plus aswell.

Usually hard liquor. Nowadays lots of cognac/brandy, at one point a shit ton of rum. Rarely whiskey or gin.
I've been on a big cognac kick recently for some reason, just bought a huge fuckin' bottle of X.O. all for myself.
Every so often I go on a bender with vodka and I get so drunk that I'm beyond the eating stage and then I get so hungover I can't eat at all for a day or two
I usually come out of the ordeal at the other end 7 or so pounds lighter
depending on when i see friends i drink for like 3 days straight with minimal eating involved and a lot of perpetual drunkenness, mixed with binge smoking and sometimes pot involved and it doesn't give me the munchies thank god

Titos is fake shit though. They just buy someone else's vodka and redistill it en mass. It's barely their own product, it's not made from start to finish in Texas, and it certainly isn't handmade as they claim.

Alcohol is actually quite thermogenic so the calories can be deceiving. The main thing you need to do is to not eat during nor after drinking. Eating carbs or consuming any sugar while drinking can quickly turn you into a fat fuck.

no, because they drink + eat disgusting shit like fast food and fatty meats on top of that. even if you had like ~600 cals of alcohol a day, you could easily stay under ~2000 if you ate mainly fibrous foods like whole grains and vegetables.
alcohol alters your hormone balance, diverts extra nutrients to the liver, because sugar and alcohol are metabolized in almost the exact same process, etc.

I live almost entirely on fast food (1-4 meals a day, ranging from actual fast food to local grease bucket spots) soda, and craft beer. My favorite place has my order ready for me when I walk in, they don't even bother verbally confirming anymore.

My face got super fat after I turned 21 and weighted 135 lbs and 6'1" because I was drinking all the time. This makes me sad because before 21 everyone would say I looked like a model and now I'm just skinny fat. Don't be like me.
All liquor is high in calories retard, vodka is no exception the calories come from the alcohol itself which vodka has a ton of and not to mention alot of people mix vodka with some other drink adding even more to the calorie count.
I think I gained something like 15-20 pounds up to 150ish. I definitely had a huge beer belly as well. I've lost the weight since, but my face is still fucked up. To be fair though in my black out states of mind I would eat a shit ton of food cause I was starving myself all the time attempting to lose weight while drinking and my drunk brain would tell me "fuck it, just eat, you can lose the calories by running tomorrow". Even though I was running 30 to 40 minutes 3x a week, I couldn't really make up for the alcohol consumption.
I lost most of the weight by quiting alcohol and getting a med card and smoking so much that I was too stoned to get up and make food. I didn't even work out during this time, just lazily laying around and not eating.
