I've finally found my surplus GAT's
but
They are dirty as fuck, the leather is somehow scratched, only the sole looks good enough.
How do I clean these surplus GAT's?
Is there any way to save them?

Take a deep breath and don't panic. Leather shoes are usually very restorable.
Get a genuine bristle shoe brush. Brand doesn't really matter. Rule of the thumb for leather is you use a brush you could shower with. Anything that scratches your skin is going to scratch leather as well.
Then get a bar of soap. Marseilles soap works well for leather and is cheap as chips.
Let the brush soak for a while, brush some soap on and work the shoes up. Once you're done let air dry for a day.
Next you want to apply some white shoe cream or polish to hide the scratches. Apply with a rag in circular motions; Let dry for at least 15 minutes and buff out.
Then spray the shoes with a protector spray and you're set.
How much did you pay?
German Ebay sellers have brand new surplus pairs for around 60 euro plus shipping

This.
And you can get replicas from mil tec for half of that.
Slav here, got mine for $12.
The new ones cost a bit more, but they are out of stock atm
