Ideally you would want to be at a healthy weight with some muscle mass. Then drop down your body fat to around 9-12% so you get muscle definition. That's it.
You don't need to pump iron day in day out, or starve yourself. Just work out every now and then, don't overindulge in food, and enjoy life.

This. I cringe so hard when everyone thinks they have some unique fucking metabolisms. Even if you had genetics that would burn more calories the difference would be around 200-500 calories which can be acquired with a fucking candy bar.

I always have problems finding clothes that fit right, especially shirts, sweaters and jackets always have too short sleeves.
Once you have decent muscle mass, *all* it takes to maintain it is eating around 1g of protein per kg of body weight. You don't even need to work out after that. Don't pig out on food, and eat plenty of protein. And don't undereat. That's all there is to it.

I actually don't diet, as I've been underweight my whole life. However if you're not into curbing your appetite with cigarettes and coffee (tasty mix, but it's not healthy to not eat), I learned it's best to spread out eating into small, healthy snacks with a good core meal. If you have enough time, make breakfast be your core meal and then do little snacks like almonds and peanut butter throughout the day. As for sandwiches, see if you can make wraps -tortilla shells and lettuce work best. Also I am really big fan of smoothies with Spirutien in them! I hope this helps.

Ottermode is easily achievable to you and it's the most effay build, and the build that girls like the most. Do SS for 6-8 months and then move to a PPL, and eat more. Drink only milk. Eat more. Eat more. Eat more. You'll get fat, when you get fat switch to the PPL and cut and you'll be sexy within a year and a half, combine that with dress sense and you're set.

I'm counting calories but as far as simple recommendations:

SS is starting strength. its a very simple, novice based strength program. from skelly is generally advised to do this routine for 6-8 months, one your start to plateau its time to move on.
Next could be either Texas Method (TM), StrongLifts (SL), or if you're experienced with lifting from previously being athletic, you could manage PPL. PPL stands for Push-Pull-Legs. Where each of the training days is targeted not to specific muscle groups, but is still based on compound exercises that focus on lifts that pull (pull-ups/chin-ups, deadlift, pendlay row, etc.), push (bench press, overhead/military press, Arnold press, dips, etc.), and legs (squat, romanian dead-lift, split-squat, calf-raises, etc).

I know heavy lifting is safe if you really know what you are doing, but honestly it makes me nervous /fit/ promotes that to kids that probably are just going to watch some youtube videos and try it on their own. Books and videos can only get you so far, you need a couch doing stuff like low rep squats.
I adapt the mannerisms of active people, or people with low body fat when they're stressed out. If a person is low body fat, its because they're active as a stress relief, so whenever you're stressed out, move your leg up and down and think of an ambient song or something.

Not that Anon, but, in my experience the people who claim to have some unheard of metabolism actually don't eat that much, they just think they do or eat a bunch of shit food so people think they do.
Worked with the guy for a while, super skinny. He always wanted to gain weight. At the office he'd eat cookies sometimes and seemed to eat a normal size lunch. Later found out he didn't really eat much dinner from his wife, so he'd eat a normal sized lunch and some cookies during the day, but then maybe 300-400kcal at night.
I don't think it is their metabolism, I think it is whatever in your brain controls how full you feel. Theirs seems to trigger sooner.
Also it's learned. Like now that I'm skinny I just eat less and have no desire to eat more than I do. When I was bigger, larger portions were just normal for me. A portion I eat now I'd think was crazy small.
I think it depends on the girl and her type, because it's always been my type of guy. Its probably also because I'm quite skinny and petite myself. I really hate overly muscular or just buff guys its such a complete turn off for me and always has been.

Many people seem to think that if they eat one pizza, they'll become fat. When in reality, it has everything to do with the amount of calories a body takes in. A 2000 kcal pizza will make you gain just as much as 2000 kcal worth of bananas...

Very few do, and they're mostly either a) extremely young or b) anorexic themselves.
Being very skinny myself, I've found that the vast majority of girls and women tend to like average to slightly muscular bodies over both skeletons and roid-monkeys, which both have a small and weird fanbase (young anorexics with addy issues and plastic-fantastic bimbos). Hell, they even prefer slightly chubby men over skeletons.
Most women want to feel smaller than the man, and be protected. Feminists might argue differently, but they're wrong and their opinions should be discarded.

Many men build fat around their stomach v easily so this is nothing wrong, but yes it is fat that's how your body stores it. If you want to get rid of it you need to lose even more weight.
I do not recommend it for health reasons since you're obviously not overweight, only for vain reasons in that case.

Recently didn't eat for 40 hours, made me lose quite some weight even though I don't have overweight. If you happen to have some time off and don't want to engage in any activity whatsoever, go for it. If you do have school/work, I wouldn't advise this.
Skeletal here. I want to buy a suit and a blazer but everything off the rack fits me really poorly in the sleeves. Even skinny fit suits look like baggy regular fits on me.

It depends on how much they need to be shortened and weather the buttons are functional (meaning they can be opened up). If the buttons are closed and you don't need to shorten it too much, it's a cheap and simple procedure.
If the buttons are functional or if you need to shorten it a lot, the tailor might have to shorten it from the shoulder, which costs slightly more.
With that said, if all you need to do is fix the sleeves, it shouldn't be a problem nor should it cost a lot. I can't remember buying a single suit/blazer/shirt without having to take it to a tailor just to get it perfect. I usually expect to spend ~50-100€ all in all.

Help me skele crew. I came back from uni for a visit and now parents are going to take me to a doctor to determine if I'm underweight and need help (currently 6'3" 135 lb). They're going to take me in tomorrow, I'm going to tell the doctor that I eat greens for lunch and uni food for dinner (is true), and that my skin has been much clearer now that I eat better. desu this is urgent, if the doctor deems I need help they will pull me from out of state uni and make me transfer to an instate. I'm going to try to drink a gallon of water and eat some bananas all day, hopefully will boost me 8-9 pounds or so. Will be painful for my bladder though. any tips pls help.

the hardest part about starting to lose weight was learning to eat less, but once your body gets used to eating less on a daily basis, your appetite adjusts. i could only eat half as much food now as i could have before christmas.
so it's been just over a month of consciously trying to lose weight, and i can already see results, and it's getting easier and easier with time. i mean, this is obviously a very unhealthy way to lose weight, but it's working for me, and will do for the time being.
i'd post a picture but the results aren't that noticeable yet. they're noticeable on the scale though. i'm happy with the progress thus far, about a stone lost in a month. anyway, this has been working for me.

I don't have a set routine unfortunately, I just try to exercise 4~5 times a week.
Typically ballet counts for one day, ice skating another. I try to lift 3 times a week but sometimes end up only lifting 2.
For lifting, I have a power rack in my basement and I do compounds lifts only. Squads, deadlifts, bench press, OHP press, and dips.
I also do a quick 15 minute intense ab routine after lifting and stretch whenever I think of stretching.
I meat mostly fruits, veg, complex carbs, and lean proteins. Little to no processed/junk/fast food except for the rare occasions.
