you do realise that backpacks arent always suitable for every occassion
are you actually walking around all day that would require you to need a backpack, or are you sitting the office, car or train for most of the day and only walking short distances everywhere

Backpacks are shit and destroy the shoulders of any jacket that has structured shoulders (suits, overcoats, etc). Get a shoulder bag or something held in your hand like a tote/briefcase

nothing wrong with backpacks with coats, just not school bag looking ones, pick a more formal one eg simple black leather with no logos. but in general handheld bags look better
