Looking for an affordable dark brown double monk shoe, £150 or less. There's plenty of good options at 200 but I'm looking for closer to 100.
Was looking at Ruggers of London but they don't seem to gave the exact type I'm looking for. Pic related is Meermin Mallorca which fits the budget but shipping fees + paranoia about whether it'll fit or not and then I have to pay return shipping scares me

I can't say I've pulled the trigger on Meermin quite yet, but I've heard nothing but unequivocal praise for them, especially at the price point. The only complaint I've ever heard is that it takes some time to break down the leather (which is like any nice leather dress shoe ever)
(Keep in mind that they aren't gonna be as good as $500+ shoes, but that kinda goes without saying).

meermin is absolute top bang for buck in the shoe game right now as far as I'm aware
just be doubly sure of your size. Look up how the particular last fits people in comparison to sizes in other shoes, or Brannock.

Thanks anon, thanks Patrick, probably gonna go with meermin then.
Anywhere specific with up to date sizing experiences?

What type of last does that particular shoe use? Google "last name sizing" and you should get some advice from SF or reddit or whatnot
